Thank you for all your replies, this is some forum. I have been a smoker for 25 years, and smoke about 20 roll ups a day (Gloden Virginia) no filters. I dont really care what the e cigs looks like I am hoping to find something close to the taste of GV + I have had a look on youtube videos and they seem to need alot of effort to get a good drag. I have only just started looking on the forum but cant see any mention of USA brands like south beach, green smoke, ect. is there a reason for this. I really want to give e cigs good try so your advice will be invaluable. kind regards SJ

Hi SJ, yes there is a very good reason for us not recommending Green Smoke, Blu cigs etc. They are over priced, you can only get replacement parts from them as they have different threads to standard ones & they under perform. Apart from that, I guess they are OK The kit Debb bought (plus lots of others) is this one - use discount code allabout for 10% off (you will need some e-liquid as well) - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-110....eginners%5D~151

First off bad news, I seriously doubt you will find anything that tastes EXACTLY like Golden Virginia, sorry. BUT you will find LOADS of flavours that you may like, the world is your lobster! There are some great tobacco-ish flavours about that we can recommend to you. Then if you want you can venture into flavours from Green tea to Pizza If you do try an E-cig as you are a 20 a day rollie person you should start off on a higher nicotine strength of around 24mg otherwise you may not like the nic cravings and your e-cig may not hit the spot. You don't see so many American juices as we have great juice suppliers here in the UK. Ordering from the USA means a longer delivery time and a limit on how much you purchase before paying duty, VAT and delivery charges. We know of these juices and many of us here have tried them, but for the reasons above they are not our "main stram" juices. get yourself a Riva kit that has been recommended above, get some good strong tobacco like juice, you say money is not a problem. Still all you need to invest is £40 - £45 to give vaping a try if you don't like it you can sell your kit here and recoup most of your expenditure. If you do like it then great! You'll be able to add to the kit you have knowing that upgrades for this kit are plentiful and easy to come by.

the reason no one much mentions e-lites, sky cig, south beach, blu cig, green smoke etc etc is that they are in a word cr@p and totally over priced. due to their form factor the battery wont last more than an hour between charges and give a very weedy amount of vapour. you will be better off going for something that is more 'cigar' size that has a big enough battery to give you a nice full vape and last you the day.... the one i would suggest is riva 1100 then all you would have to add is some e-liquid of your desired flavour

They seem to have to inhale 2 or 3 times longer than I do on a roll up. SJ The youtube videos I have watched usually start of by saying that's how they like to vape. Some people like a long inhale and lots of vapour. You will find your own way. It's not usually because it's hard to inhale.

Some people like a long inhale and lots of vapour. You will find your own way. It's not usually because it's hard to inhale. The main reason that vapers inhale longer is to do with the way nicotine is absorbed into the body. The particles of smoke are smaller than the molecules of vapour, so nicotine is more difficult to absorb in the lungs by vaping. Vapers tend do a long, slow draw followed by an exhale through the nose, which allows the nicotine to be absorbed through the mucus membranes of the mouth, throat and nose.

sj Vapeescape is often recommended because the owner, Jason, is incredibly helpful and his service is superb. He understands vaping and the needs of newbies. His kits are designed after feedback from vapers. Delivery is always next day and prices are reasonable.
