Just a short note really, Happy that I'm already noticing the benefits of vaping. There is a hill in between my local train station and my house that has a 15% gradient. Normally that hill is a massive challenge to me and requires a lot of mental & physical effort just to climb it (and a lot of swearing) I got to the top of it today and only then realised I was at the top, I hadn't even thought about it at all, also went to the gym this week and my usually difficult routine was easy peasy

I had given up fags for 3 years (after 22 years of smoking) before I started again and then moved on to vaping after about 3 months of re-starting. So I did not notice any benefits in that department but several people at work whom I have introduced to vaping have commented about the ease in breathing.
I went for my medical two days ago and my BP was a touch high when they first took it..I had just vaped before I went in. 10 minutes later it was lower but still on the higher side though I suspect more from a sedentary lifestyle. I got to buy a BP checker and monitor it to see how vaping is affecting me cause I am a touch worried on that front.

Would high BP be caused by the nicotine? Are you vaping high strength juice? Hope you can find out the cause, I don't know too much about BP, but I believe there can be a few causes

Match Ellen, I've started running since vaping, I also did a Davina McCall Dvd the other day I used to find these challenging particularly if I hadn't done one in a while but it was quite easy, I still hurt a bit the next day though so it still worked

My blood pressure was a tad on the low side when it was taken a couple of months ago. I'd been vaping in the car just before I went in! I monitored my bp a few weeks ago as DH had been sent home with a monitor for a week. The result was always very similar to the original one! I enjoy not having to spen 30mins coughing every morning

Some of the gunk is slowly starting to come off my chest, 10 years of heavy smoking, I imagine it will take a while, but the choking coughs and the early morning one have gone already

Nicotine does raise BP like any other stimulant, though I am not sure if more strength =more BP..

My bp is always on the low side, one time when it was taken by a nurse she quipped 'if u weren't talking to me I'd think u were dead' vaping doesn't appear to have any effect on my bp and I wake up in the night and vape just as I did when I was smoking heavily.

It feels good to actually not get breathless and no more stinky fag smells. I was going to mention that it`ll save you money but that depends if you get the ninja bug.

Um not saving me money yet, but I hope that's only temporary, yes I'm a gadget lover so I can see me upgrading to shinier things in time, but once I know what juices/cartos I like I can buy in bulk, but I may have heard about a new job today, so it's all good

TBH, I can't say I've found any difference in "before and after" energy levels, food doesn't taste any different, but my sense of smell has increased. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing! Lol.
