Heard some people say they use vodka for thinning their own juices. Does anyone know if e-juice makers use vodka/alcohol in their juices?

Something I quite seriously need to know actually, I can't have any alcohol, even if it is in Vape form

Some flavourings are alcohol based as far as I know..But you'll never get to vape alcohol because it'll burn off..
If you want to be sure, you have to buy e-juice like the Hangsen Premuim Range which lists all their ingredients on the juice.

I am not chemist but I am fairly certain that by the time the liquid is vapourised it's not ethyl alcohol anymore. I am don't drink too and have been on the wagon since 1995..

Probably best to avoid VG juices then too as they`d be the ones thinned with alcohol (or water). ..possibly

I think most of them use de-ionized water to thin VG..
The problem with using alcohol is that it burns and changes chemical composition so it does not really vapourise like the rest of the ingredients which is why the throat hit is better..VG & PG become VG and PG again when they condense as far as I know..
I have a feeling that apple flavouring naturally contains alcohol and that is why the throat hit is better. Maybe there is a chemist around who will an analysis and let us know..

We never use alcohol for thinning, distilled water only (if a juice really needs it).
I have heard of some other vendors using alcohol though.

Ellen if in doubt I'm sure a quick email to any vendor used by forum members will get you a quick and honest reply. I know vodka is used in DIY juices but to be honest I can't see it being used commercially purely on a cost basis when compared to distilled water.
