Hello all. Does anybody know approx how long a battery is supposed to last? I don't mean between charges, I mean the whole life of it. I have 2 x 1100 ego C batteries and alternate between them, charging 1 whilst using the other. I've had them about 2 months now. One is showing fully charged but I get no vape at all (but I do when I change to my back-up battery so I know its not the Vision clear thingy). I thought batteries were supposed to last approx 6 months. Maybe I'm wrong. Does anybody know?? Thanks alot and if I don't reply straight away it's because I've got to go out and wont be back on comp until later. Thank you

Usually when a battery fails to fire like this it's because the centre post has been pushed down. It can be easily fixed, see this video

Thanks oneday. I'll have a look later. However, the button still lights up when pressed so could the centre pin still be the problem?

Yes.... the button lights because the battery is properly charged, but if the centre pin has been pushed down it's not making contact with whatever you screw onto it

Please do let us know how it went. A tiny screw driver or a cocktail stick will work, but just edge it up a mm at a time, re-try, edge up another fraction etc

A word of warning Chirpie don't get too lifting happy I broke a couple of Riva's overdoing this, although of course you may be a bit more patient and less ham handed than me

Well done chirpie... it's a common problem with the ego/riva batteries. I now keep a tiny screwdriver (originally used for the mini screws in glasses) in my vaping box
