Try swishing juice around your wick that sometimes helps with burnt taste

Ziggy the thing with clearos is to keep the wicks wet by tipping or swirling the juice around

just below the mouthpiece there's a little silicone cap on top of the centre tube, and sticking out from the sides of that are two very short wicks touching the wall of the tank

Ziggy, I think it's a carto inside the CE5s?
If so, the carto needs to be kept wet. I would make sure that the juice level is kept above the lower level holes.
With carto tanks I find it helps to take a few 'draws' every now and again without presing the fire button on the e cig. This forces juice up into the carto.

I don't think they have a wick. It looks like a carto inside with 4 holes in it.

Ah ok, they're the ones with a ceramic wick inside the centre tube. I haven't used them myself so I don't know why you're getting the burnt taste, sorry. I see you've asked the question on the CE5 thread, I hope someone there can help you

Just thought I would post an update letting you know how my vaping is going. I am so glad I upgraded from a skycig. It was a great stepping stone to get me started. Now I have a 1100mah ego style battery with ce5 clearos (thanks digismoke). After a few problems with my clearos all is sorted now and I'm very happy. This is the longest I have been off the stinkies. I never thought it would be possible. Also I would like to say a big thank you to all the people that have had to put up with all my questions that I have asked on here. Thank you so much

Great to hear how well you're doing Ziggy, well done We all have bad vape days sometimes and get a bit flumoxed by some of the bits and bobs, so never be afraid to ask questions, it's quite a steep learning curve
