Tried to order some more needles and syringes last week for mixing and my tanks... A week later it's still pending ... Nothing on the website and no response on the phone Have now sourced from a combo of ebay and octoinkjet (http://www.octoink.co.uk/) I phoned them and they don't do discounts but sound okay. they are based in Barnsley....Also do goodies for your printer and various thick needles etc (which is what we need ) Jane

I got a good selection of needles from octoink. They have a fair range of stuff at decent prices and delivery cost and they were very prompt when I used them.

What guage of needle would you recomend Pixie? I have an assortment and fount that even thought some are the perfect size for filling cleros (going through that tiny hole in the rubber) That they are far too thin to suck up the juice from the bottle. I have on one occation stuck the syringe into the bottle and sucked up the juice, then put the needle on and tried to inject it in to the tank only to put too much force on and the needle shooting off the syringe and the juice going everywhere, not good lol

Yeah I had that problem the other day, had 9mls of VG shooting across the room as the needle flew off from the pressure of pushing the plunger down. I had stuck the wrong one on! 14-16 gauge for VG. Wouldn't go above 18 gauge for anything, that's better for PG but 16 would be fine for pretty much everything. 14 is good when doing lots as its quicker to suck it up and push it back out again but be careful of it dripping out the end if it's thin liquid such as PG.
18 gauge can be put down a dropper bottle depending on the dropper with a little bit of effort.

Although if the bottles of PG/VG are fairly full then I take the needle off, much easier!
