Batty, part of the staple diet but some of us would have been the first generation to be raised on junk food i.e. spam, chopped pork, fish fingers, angel delight one of my favourites as a child was heinz tinned ravioli, yuk, my animals eat better than that now not a lot of nutritional value at all

I guess I was lucky as a kid, as I grew up in the sticks where fast food was just not available. The Chippy was the closest we got, and that was fresh fish as we knew the blokes that supplied them as we used to go fishing with them.
I remember that there was only one chinese place in town and one curry house. Oh how times they are a changing

So remember spam, chopped pork, fish fingers, angel delight & vesta curries - no wonder so many of us ended up smoking to help "calm us down" from all the additives in them And yes, I know there are even more additives in cigarettes , but we didn't know that at the time

I just finished a tank (eGo Type A) and shuved in another one, bit of a surprise as I did not know what I had put in it, it is menthol which has one hell of a kick compaired to the fruity one I was just one. I really have to make note of what I am putting into them as a lot of them look the same lol

I do remember beanfeast, I think it got over shadowed by Pot Noodle. Now there was a a favourate of mine for work, quick, easy, taste and hot grub. great when I was on the shop floor (on the tools in the manufacturing department). I still have them today, and before anyone says about it being junk food, it got all healthey a long time ago with no artificial this or that, reduced sugars and salt. It is a bit of a pity as the Beef and Tomato one just does not taste the same.

I remember having: 1. Spam Fritters and chips - for school dinner just like in the photo in this thread, no veg in sight! Jamie Oliver would have a coronary. 2. Vesta Chow mein with fried crispy noodles on top 3. Aromat - a condiment that's basically MSG and salt that you shook on your food! 4. Pink Custard - with pudding in school, what the hell made it pink!? 5. Slush Puppies in summer - loads of colouring and sugar, turned your tongue the same colour and gave you a headache if you drank it too fast. 6. - vesta curry - with raisins in it WHY RAISINS? There must be loads more. We really did eat some rubbish in the "good old days"
