Trevor, I know where Macca is coming from when he said what he said. In your initial post they are what any of us would say are signs to get yourself to a Dr.
If you read your own post as a third person, what advice would you give them when they say they have tenderness in the chest and that they have a pace maker fitted?
There have been recent events where people have posted about health issues, which most of us have not experienced, and like the repeated statement that none of us are doctors of medicine. When the suggestion of going to a GP is offered, the returning response has been along the lines of "You don’t understand" and it has appeared that they have actively gone looking for evidence to blame it on Vaping or allergies related to vaping. This can tend to lead to the people giving advice to throw their hands up in the air and give up trying to help.
I am not saying that is your intention or that is what you are doing. But like I said, if someone on here had posted a post like you have, and you have been vaping for years without any of those symptoms or even heard of it being related to vaping, what would you say to that person?
There has been a lot of good advice offered to you, and all of it in the interest of
you and your health. I personally know of someone reacting to the either the PG or the VG. In fact my friend has found out that switching to pure VG has actually made things worse for her because for some reason it triggers her IBS, but with a 50/50 mix it doesn’t.
My advice to you is this.
1. Go see your GP, you never know you might have a respitary infection and with a pace maker fluid on the lungs is an issue.
2. Think if you are doing anything different that might be causing it.
3. Not if it more noticeable at certain times and is there a link to those times.
4. Think, is your breathing any better? One thing I did find was the return of my breath. I was (I say was as I am more whale shaped now than torpedo) an accomplished swimmer and diver, since I have been smoking by lung capacity has greatly reduced. Since vaping my lung capacity has started to return. My normal breathing is a lot deeper than it used to be. It was noted above about the muscle between the ribs. It might be that you are now giving it a better work out and it is telling you that you are.
5. When you feel the tightness in your chest try taking some Renne. It is quite possible that you are getting acid reflux as a symptom of vaping which should die down if you increase your fluid throughput.
6. I do not know if you are on medication that might be reacting to the PG or VG. Please go to the Dr and let them give you a look over. Tell them what you are doing, get advice from them It might be something more serious, and not a laughing matter. At the very least it will put your mind at rest as to what it is not that is causing your symptoms.
I hope you do not think I am trying to bully you or teach you to suck eggs, but you did ask for our thoughts and opinions and we have advised our thoughts and opinions. Remember vaping might not be for every one, the people on here could probably say, hand on heart that it has given them more years of life than if they had carried on smoking, so for them it is a good thing. Cheers mate
