riva charger

i have bought two laptop chargers for my riva,and both have come away from the usb,leaving bare wires meaning i cant use them,is there a better charger i can use for my riva?

sorry i dont have my camera here just now,the black outer layer has come away at top where the usb is and short circuiting,meaning battery wont charge as the inner wires are exposed,hope that makes sense

That is unusual for that to happen, where did you get them from? If it was form VapeEscape, I would drop them a message saying what has happened. as if it has happened to both of them I would not use them as it might damage your laptop and it is possibly a bad batch.

If that is the only thing that is wrong with them then they can be fixed. If you do not get any luck with the suppliers (would be suprised if you dont) I would be able to fix them for you, by replacing the cable all together

yes got from vape escape,will drop him a message see what he says,only got one now as threw other one out when i got this one,but wondered why it happened to both. thanks batty will see what happens.

If you can find the old one in the bin, it might be helful to have it returned to him so he can keep an eye out for it.

It is strange that they have both done it. What are you pluggint them into? when they were working did they seem to get hot at all?

hi plugged into the laptop.never noticed them getting hot,away to email now as he always very helpful

how do you unplug them from the laptop? My girlfriend has a habit of unplugging USB's by yanking the cable! Never known anyone go through iphone cables like her! Its that bad that I brought 10 from ebay a few months back, now I only 6 left (one which I use in the office which is still perfect condition!)

I use the charger on the left without the trailing wire which I bought from HC if that is any help..



I dunno if any UK suppliers stock this model.

If it is just the charging cabe for the iphone (not a data one) I can knock you up a pretty near indistructable one for your OH lol

Thats good summer. I used to do a bit of work for a sound hire company and was taught the importance of cable love!! Something many people wont understand untill they try rolling up a 150meter 64way multicable/stagebox!! lol
