Over the counter PG and VG *UPDATE URGENT*

What a mission. I just this minute have come back from the center. I went to boots to see if they had glycerin for sale apparently there is a problem with the company so are unable to stock up. Regarding the Pg I spoke to the Pharmacist and he has ordered me some which will be ready for pick up tomorrow morning.

On my way home I stopped at a chemist and asked if the have glycerin, surprise surprise they have, but before buying I wanted to double check it's OK for vaping. Can anyone advise me please on this link

It's probably OK Pharma grade Glycerine....difficult to say without seeing all the writing on the bottle.

Odd about Boots, since their supplier is one of their own Companies and also based in Nottingham.

hmmmm thats very weird for the guy from boots telling me there is a problem with the company if it's their own suppliers. I don't know what say, but they haven't even got any selling online, seems something fishy may be going on with the glycerin

I think I'm going to go and buy it, it seems OK and it states BP on the ingredients

Bought it and this it what it says on the bottle

Active Ingredient : glycerol 100% v/v
there are no other ingredients

ain't got a clue what the v/v stands for

I am sure I have read somewhere that Tesco sell Glycerine, its in the baking aisle.
I got mine from Boots 1. 29 200ml, Lloyds Pharmacy should be fine.

Shame you don't live near me, I have loads , doesn't help I know.

i suspect Boots are resizing their bottles and charging extra, it was 99p then shot up to 1.29 methinks they have cottoned on to us vapers.

As far as I understand v/v means the volume of the stated ingredients divided by over all volume of the solution.

Which I guess means you've got a bottle of a 100% glycerol solution Dream.

Thanks Malibu for confirming this, out of curiosity does it say V/V too?. God I gotta laugh asking all these questions, but got to get it right! Got my distilled water too, PG coming tomorrow, everything sorted

Snap EXACTLY what I was thinking! I went to buy the Glycerin from boots and it was out of stock. while I was in Sainsburys, I looked for distilled water it was out of stock. I too believe that the price will go up, they must be wondering why these have become so popular and such a big seller, surely there can't be 1000's people with sore throats everyday

I bought mine for £1.99 from Sainsburys petrol station. When I left Sainsburys I was going to go to halfords to buy the de-ionised water from there, but remembered the sainsburys petrol station outside and wondered if they had it in there? to my surprise they did.

I'm sitting here vaping away on the e liquid mixture I made and cos, it's only a Glycerine mixture it's like I'm sitting in a sauna with all the vaping

Taste nice though, hopefully better tomorrow

Once I get the Pg from boots, I'll mix a little of that and hopefully it will calm it down a wee bit.
