about UKV shutting is that when I'm doing a google search for a vaping topic, it always shows a few lines from a thread on UKV that seems to have just the info I'm looking for, but I can't get to the threads.
As a newbie I do a lot of searching forums for info (otherwise I would be constantly asking questions)

That's a a wealth of info, not just for newbies but more experienced vapers as well I'm guessing that's just lost

it isn't as complex as it looks, read through it, and type in UK Vapers, then your search query - you will one page of that topic cached via Google.

you can use Google - advanced search.

I don't think UKV is gone for good, it is only temporary, a few things have to run their course, but I'm quietly confident that it will be back

It was easier when I started vaping. There are many more types of vaping supplies out there now. It's good to see that vaping is becoming popular, but it doesn't make it easy for the new vaper to decide on what to get.

It's very scary and overwhelming for the new vaper, just when I think I've got my head around something there's something else I get curious about.
I don't mind as I love gadgets and I love learning about pretty much anything really,

Malibu and Ellen, vapers quickly found out, that a cigarette looking e-cig is not necessarily the way to go. What you want is an e-cig that gives gives good vapor, good throat hit and doesn't have to charged or filled every hour. That quickly becomes a nuisance and many times is inconvenient.

I use an eGo (Riva is the same thing), with a low resistance, dual coil cartomizer. I can vape all day, without having to charge a battery or refill the cartomizer. I think the latest thing are the tanks, which I know very little about.

The biggest problem I found was so many different ways to Vape and so many ways are suited to so many different people - so how was I know what was suited to me? ???

Hours before my order went it I was convinced on the Riva, but (Vape-Escape Jason) swayed me otherwise, and I can see why, even though at the time I was really confuzzled over it

Also it takes a lot to get used to it, and unless we have an immediate friend / partner who vapes with experience, no matter how many videos you watch, it doesn't help - it didn't me anyway

I was really wanting some kind of flashing arrow to show me what to buy and why

UKV was useful, but you could have 10 people all differing on experience and usage. More confusion!

I do keep looking at new shiny things, and then thinking why? I have everything I need apart from a pro-vari (why was I never told about one those at the start? )

Jason sorted me out with the vision 900, using that plus v3 vision clearos, have 4 in aplastic fag box all different flavours to avoid boredom... Got a vivi nova too to have a play with... In all honesty if it wasn't for Chrissie,ECF and this forum I would never have had a clue, even Jason helps me out with my 101 questions lol....

I always thought vaping was cigalikes clueless :-)
