Hi all Been vaping for 2 weeks now without any nasties, but ive been missing a good throat hit. Ive started out with a Riva kit, standard cartomisers & a clearomiser, So I thinking of trying a tank? Does the tank give a better throat hit ??? Also I have found that when using the clearomisers & I want to change the e-liquid flavour, I can still taste the old one that I had in there before, yuk I wash out & dry burn the clearomiser but the old scent is just still there Any tips??

You would probably be better trying low resistance cartomisers or Vision Ego first, before a tank.
Some flavours, such as menthols and coffee really do linger in the carto's.

I know this sounds thick lol what's the difference between standard, low & high resistance cartomisers? ??? Can I use a low resistance cartomiser with a Riva 510? I was thinking of getting an ego twist battery? Or should I try low resistance first?

The lower the resistance the better the throat hit but the quicker your battery will run down. I was advised not to go bellow 2 on a Riva/Ego. The ego twist is a really good battery, IMO, but you would probably be cheaper getting some LR cartos or visions to try just now. I think some members use Tesco own make staradent tabls to clean visions and tanks

Great thank you I'll be in Tesco tomorrow to grab some! Was worried I'd have to throw it in the bin after just one vaping session

Are they washing powder or dishwasher tabs?? just dissolve the tab in some warm water.......... then place the clearomiser in the solution.......... for a quick clean 20mins......... a bit longer if you want to make sure. Throughly rinse with clean warm water a few times and blow through and leave to dry You should then be good to go btw....... denture tablets are with the toothpastes, etc lol

just to clarify lower the resistance the hotter they get and the more vapour and throat hit a variable voltage twist etc has the same effect by upping the voltage to get them hotter and increase vapour and throat hit
with clearos i find if you fill them half full of very warm water and place your finger over the top and shake till the wicks are nice and white again usually does the trick but the denture tablets may help get rid of those suborn flavours

I have to say that I'm finding the clearos a bit rubbish. Will try an echomiser tomorrow...
Am thinking that a twist and a tank will be the way to go for me.
