Ah - I've sussed out the name!
This is absolutely true. I knew someone who went to school with the daughter of Mr and Mrs Curtain. They christened her Annette.

Just couldn't work out why he didn't like his Christian name shortened  Now THEY are cruel parents (a very true story, poor bloke) |
