Hi,
One of my Riva batteries is acting strange!!!
It keeps randomly flashing, like when its turned on, but slower. This can happen when its left on its own doing nothing, even if its turned off! It still works, although sometimes I have to press the button a few times to get it to fire as first press can make it start flashing.
It is fully charged, never been dropped or got wet or anything. The other one I got in the kit is fine and so is my river kit and all are charged the same way with the same stuff.
Anyone got any ideas ???
Cheers

I was gonna say lack of charge, because mine do that when they're low, but obviously it's not the case with yours rich, so someone else will help I'm sure.............

I have read somewhere that the Riva when it is flashing could mean that it is shorting out. It might be juice in there or that the wires inside have gotten so hot that the insulation had melted. it might be random if the wires or juice are causing a short.

In this video it shows you how to take an eGo apart. as they are very similar you would be able to take the top off and check

Yer tha accent does get to you after a bit. but at least you know how it is done now. I found out the hard way by having a giantmizer attached to mine and dropping it. it hit the wodden chair on the way down and took the top off easily. infortunatly it also shorted out the circuit board inside making the battery usless. Though I now have some replacement parts from LF to repair it

I have some parts on their way from HC that will allow mw to convert the ego into a 18650 battery powered mod. it means that I can use the ones from my bike lights to also power my eGo lol
