:)Hi guys been using my echo e for a day now and enjoying it, my smoktek dct 6ml tank arrived this morning with some carts but they won't fit the echo e battery, I assume this is a thread problem and I need some kind of adapter for it, I did notice the echo-e has a high 510 skirt so I presume this is why the tank isn't getting any connection, if anyone knows what I need please say thank you, I know there's ego to 510 adapters but is this the one I need, have a great day and happy vaping

That should fit fine, i use similar on Ego batteries Does your centre post on your battery perhaps need edging up a bit. Use a cocktail stick and just very gently try to push it up around the sides. Have you got the carto into the tank properly? If it's similar to mine your carto will have a flange and you need to make sure that it's fitting snuggly in the grooves at the bottom of the tank!

Try what Karma has mentioned, also can you screw the carto into the battery when its not in the tank, there is a possibility you have a bad thread on the carto but never known that to happen yet.

Hi karma yes the carto is seated properly the flange is actually wjat is stopping the carto going lower in the battery, I contacted the seller asked them if there was something I wasn't doing, I'm sure it's just the skirt of the battery is just to high to connect with the carto bottom, don't like the idea of toying about with the centre pin of the battery, might break it and it's brand new, thanks though guys for the suggestions

toying around with the centre pin is something that we all have to do at some point i'm afraid It can get pushed in just a tiny bit too far sometimes, especially if you over screw your cartos, lol some bats just seem to be more prone to it as well. I have a relatively new bat that I'm always having to prat about with the pin to get it to work You only need to use very gentle pressure, you probably will not even see that you've made a difference to it, but in most cases like this it will work.

I'm not sure why your cartos aren't firing? Yep, 1.5 is a bit low for these batteries but they should still fire just run your battery down very quickly I'm using 2 ohms duel coil in my dc tank and they work well

Well il post what I was told via email, pretty sure it's reliable But u never know, sounds like they won't do the batteries much good to be honest anyway,
You can't use dual coil cartomisers with the Echo batteries - the resistance is too low and the battery will protect itself from that.
