I want to share something with you, well to be honest I'm trying to understand the ego e cig and the Riva e cig. I think I'm right in saying that Joytech is the original manufacturer of the ego e cig, but the rest are copy's look alikes? If I'm correct then how would one know if the material used to make the copys are like the original ?
IE: We know the original Riva e cig functions slightly differently to the ego original e cig, but what about the copy's? I've been told by someone today that the ego copy and Riva copy can be the exactly same e cig but, different styles, now if that's the case then how would we know which cleoromiser ohm is suitable?
Someone please clear my head

There are four main types and with minor variations:
1. Original Joyetech ego type normal and passthrough--> Regulated 3.3 volt output--Ok to use with less than 2 ohm cartos,. Exception is the ego-c upgrade battery which has regulated (3.3 volt output) and unregulated (behaves like the clones below) modes.
2. Ego Unbranded Clones + Imist + Echo + RIVA etc--> Unregulated output starting at about 4.1 volts and gradually decreasing with use. Better to use 2 ohm + cartos on these..
3. Ego 3 stage VV-With LED Meter or passthrough---> Unregulated but adjustable output in 3 steps. Underload performance is not so good. Recommended carto resistance is subjective to voltage set.
4. Ego-C Twist--->Adjustable voltage with good underload performance. Again carto resistance is subjective to voltage set.

Just to add Dream(s) The eGo clones are many and various and so are the batteries that go in them - good experienced vendors have learnt which of the battery factories produce the most reliable ones. I personally prefer this type of battery as I want more than 3.3 volts. Mind you, if the Twist had been around when I started I would have been buying those instead!
