In the end I used a screw extracted from one of these

Which is a bit finer, superglued to the centre pin extracted from an
old carto to give me something to hold onto.

So al you need now is 24 extra centrer pins from old carto's and you have got yourself a little money maker selling a coil winding tool lol

I used this method on my last Bulli coil. Worked really well. Great Idea, thanks.

I don't have problems using the Bulli or Genesis Mini. Most of the issues I'm having on the Cyclon are well documented by other users. It's quite tight between the posts on there. Practice makes perfect though so I will keep trying.

I use the A1 Kanthal for mesh wicks and got a great deal from here:

It only took about a week to arrive. Unfortunately I think he is out of stock at the moment, but he seems to get it in fairly regularly. Most people seem to think this is the best bet for use with mesh because it doesn't stretch as much as the Nichrome as Batty said.

just a little point to add if you use a higher VG juice then #325 mesh wicks a little better

steve i found a LR coil on the cyclon worked best say 1.3ohm but that wouldnt suit a provari
