Coils and wicks

Getting some rainbow v3 clearos, and was wondering what gauge wire and wick to get, battery's I have are 4.2v so 2.2 - 3.0 ohms or higher would be workable per wick, but not sure what gauge or type of wire and wick is best to use, any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

What u mean by connections? The bits at either end of the wire, never tried to make my own coil so a bit clueless.

Yep, the bits at the end of the wire, not necessary but I don't like the idea of red hot wire being in contact with silicon and me vaping the result
They just twist together as I'm sure you've seen on the meany threads and vids
