Imeo informs me that he has taken delivery of 3000 of the buggas and will be sending to suppliers in about a week
Will take a bit of transit time and processing but they're due for re-stocking

I didn't even know they had had any yet - I must have blinked! I'm assuming that apart from a spare ceramic, the only other spares you need are the O-rings, at least I managed to get some of them.

Sometimes I wished that the modders who can not meet the market demand, would simply license the products to chinese. They make excellent stuff despite the commonly held belief that they make CCCP quality.

If some mods were more readily available without silly waiting lists and were priced more reasonably, I too would be using something like Penelope. But my vivi works well enough for my need atm.

Ddn't mean to offend anyone, just sharing my feelings, ok.

The chinese won't make things to the same quality that they're made at the moment. Plus mass produced products are fine when there's a large enough market for them, when you see the work that goes into some mods you understand that it's not really worth their time for relatively so few people.

I understand where you are coming from but I think if you give the Chinese or the Indians an engineering spec sheet for materials and the design they will make it to the same quality for half the price..Simply because of labour costs.

I would guess that there will be Penelope clones by October 2012..
