You have a mark 2 ceramic holder jay, the positive wire that connects to the center post MUST run down the channel that is ceramic, the negative wire MUST run down the metal channel and be short enough so that it makes no contact with the center post- leave no wire protruding from anywhere when you wire it up. The .16 wire is fine, that is the resistance wire by the sounds of it, you can tell them apart easily, the no-resistance wire is much softer than the resistance wire and therefor much more pliable. The resistance wire will be stiffer and more springy.

Well I've got this working wonderfully now. Thank god. Cheers blakey, I owe you a point! The main problem was two things. 1. My wires are bloody identical. Very difficult as far as I'm concerned anyway to see the difference. 2. I wasn't getting a connection. The gap between the pins was to great. Even though I had the ceramic pin sticking down a good 6ml (at least as far as it could go, I dont think it was reaching. Anyway working a real treat now and lovely and tight. Loads of smoke. Very happy. So far anyway! Just a shame I've got pants liquid in it coz I was fed up of using my special stuff! Hopefully my kicks arriving tuesday, so will be even better! But a lovley vape indeed!

Well done Jayjay pleased your up and running. I keep checking my wires all the time, always worried about mixing them up, so easily done.

Hopefully my kicks arriving tuesday, so will be even better! But a lovley vape indeed! That kick is a total game changer for the GGTS jay, once you've set it to the power you like you don't need to touch it again and whatever coil you make for that odysseus will perform exactly the same as the first one you made even though the resistance may be different

Brilliant news Jay. I've got my res/non res wires very clearly marked and seperated must admit, having spent some considerable time once on building a beautiful coil . . . only to find it was all in non res wire.

Cheers guys. I actually think that an off cut of wire had been placed on the wrong card. I got the wires second hand. The ggts doesn't seem to work with the smallest battery as a gap between the pins can't be closed anymore? Not with my ggts base anyway? The next size up I get the room for manoeuvre to close that gap to a contact? I dunno? Anyway Blakey I meant I owe you a pint! I am unsure I can get it any better than it is now. I LOVE that adjustable draw, it goes from just too tight for me to slack. I get it just a touch off too tight. Brilliant. My permanent home device with organic liquid. Can't be beaten. But we will see! Thanks guys.
