hmmm.. I was just in it about 5 minutes ago and was kicking myself looking at it because I ordered one about 2 hours ago before I seen that come up. Maybe they are after getting an overload I dunno.

Don't forget though Newmark, that if you buy from the US that you're almost certainly guaranteed to pay Duty/PF handling on top of the device price.

So there's always that to consider and weigh up.

Plus shipping is $39.50 . . . . although if it all came in at around $200ish , it's still a saving on a cracking device.

Its a little less than $180 including the delivery cost so works out at approx €150 or £116 so very good if managing to avoid the duty.

I have never had to pay duty here in Ireland for anything I've gotten from the states but maybe Ive just been lucky and I'm probably going to jinx myself now for saying it

Which isn't actually too excessive, it's Parcel Force's extra handling charge that grates a bit.

perpy what are the extra charges once in the uk ie tax and parcelforce?.
ive become a bit disillusioned with buying one from the uk although obviously buying from the US would mean exactly the same in a sense.
i really cant understand how you can license a distributor in the uk but expect problems (in the first 6 mths) to be sent to the US for inspection, repair or to clarify that its broke before its replaced.
surely the whole point of having a uk dealer is they get it back and tell provape its broke, dented or whatever then replace it.
they could send a quick web cam clip if need be to show the problem.
i had a laptop from asus with 2 years warranty and it got sent too asus in the uk18 mths into the warranty, surely thats how it works in the later stages of the warranty.
it breaks all uk trading laws the way i see it.

It's for the vendor to deal with the manufacturer, not the customer.

A common mistake is not keeping stock back for replacing faulty parts. When a site shows out of stock they should still have enough of that product held back to use in the case of warranty claims. The quantity would normally be based on experience and return rates obtained from the manufacturers.

Of course, not all manufacturers are honest about the return rate

Yes, we are VAT registered, so the nasty VAT man would take the first 20%, leaving just about nothing Raggy.

I did negotiate with Provape a while ago, but it just wasn't feasible, othewise we would have stocked them without question.

They are still the best device out there IMO.

I'd reckon as a rough guide, you'd be looking at around £30 in Duty/PF charges Raggy . . . I bought my first Provari direct from Provape as many of us did, as there wasn't a UK stockist at all at the time.

Provape, in my experience as a customer, are a great company to deal with, the downside is of course that they are the other side of the world.

If you do like shiny though, this deal that Newmark has found could be worth consideration, as for the time being Provape won't be making the Chrome version anymore.

that does sound very cheap.
