I bought just one of these to try today www.vapeescape.co.uk/dual%2Dcoil%2Dcartomisers%2D%28single%29%7E13Really it's just for the raspberry dodge, as the flavours only seem to shine in a carto, but I didn't want to fork out for a full pack of boges, as I really don't see me using them much once Penelope arrives. Anyone tried them, any good? As far as I understand, the resistance would be too low for my Riva but should be fine on my Ego Twist?

They should be fine on the Twist Ellen, I wouldn't go much above 3.4v though

Been tempted myself, but when with the i3 CE2's from UKecig, but they have wicks. Have heard very good reports about them, and as long as the clear ones don't crack due to types of juice, I think they would be very good. Apparently you get a good amount of vapour and throat hit from them, but others have said they dry very quickly. It'll be down to personal technique and juice type, but they'll couple well with the Twist Let us know how you get on with them, might have to pop some in the basket next time I'm there

I always used DCC's until I bought my Vivi Nova. But in a tank as I get fed up with topping up.

What did you think of the Vape on them Anne? Most of the reviews I've found seem to be for the XL ones

A bit muted in a tank Ellen, but I've heard they're excellent on their own, really bring out the flavour. Prepare to probably get addicted.

I tried them, Ellen. They're fine. Had Grizwalds strawberry ice cream and manilly vanilla in them and the flavour was lovely, and both were ok for twist and riva. However, in the strawberry one, the filling has gotten all brown and manky looking, which kind of puts me off.....
I've found the i3 ce2s give muted flavour and not much vapour, myself.
I am finding that cartos are the best for me - everything else (vivi and visions) seems to mute flavour, and I'm a flavour queen.
What are tanks like with cartos? They may have to be my next step.
Also, what's flavour like with a penelope?

The one I'm getting is 1.5ohms, so that's not safe on a Riva, be careful with that. My Penelope hasn't arrived yet, she should be here today, but I've heard that flavour and Vape on her is amazing Tanks & cartos together are supposed to be very good, that's what I was going to get before I leapfrogged to a Penelope. I'm big on flavour too and visions/vivi novas just don't cut it for me

OK, thanks. DC tank looks like a viable option. And it's not like cartos are much more expensive than vivi attie heads...
So low resistance is bad on a riva? Hmm. I did wonder that. Was trying low resistence innokins on my riva yesterday and they were getting really hot and the vape was burning my tongue..so now i know why. But they're ok in a twist?

Normal low resistance boges are ok as they are usually 2.0 ohms, but nothing lower than that is advised on a Riva

Filled this up with raspberry dodge and it's bringing the flavour through nicely, happy with these for £1.75 they will do for this juice alone.... Yes I will at some point be testing the full capacity of Penelope by filling her with raspberry dodge, but I won't be breaking up with her if she fails to perform with that one so delicate of juices
