Vaping no good

Ok, I thougt I would share this with you all, aint got a clue why? but, something to write about I guess and to see what you all say to this? No, this has not put me off vaping, I think even if it was unhealthy I still would vape, cos I love it! but anyway this is what I want to share with you all

My Hubby went down to the local car wash and the owner and employees are there are Cosovan or Albanion. Hubby standing there vaping away when the owner saw him and said "thats no good you should stop in my country plenty people bacame ill with that"

So, I'm curious to know what you think about what he said?

Is it ok to discuss these things on the forum as I don't want to put anyone off? reason why I placed it in the Lounge
It is just that some things make me wonder why they say what they say

Dream I work with mainly Eastern Europeans and many more of them smoke than Brits now do. Many of them have not seen e-cigs before and are quite curious about mine. If anything like that had really happened it would be world news.
So, I would rest assured, it's probably either just some gossip or something got lost in translation.

I went to watch a cricket match at the local village ground & one of the players ( who I think was of Indian or similar heritage) was vaping away on an enormous great floor standing bong...........

To be honest Oneday, The reason I'm thinking about what he said to Hubby is because, you all know how hard it was for me to get him to vape? well now he is absolutely loving it and he goes out (I think as he seems so proud holding his Riva) and I could say "shows off" lol and I feel it kind of got Hubby worried or a bit confused when the guy said that to him. So, I said to hubby that he should have said to him "so in your country smoking is safe and healthy?"

Damn don't you hate it when you think of the perfect reply after the event has passed lol

Hubby's best reply would have been:

"Oh, thats rather odd, thousands are vaping in the UK and nobody has become ill with it".

Unfortunately Dream, people like to talk and even if they know absolutely nothing about what they're talking about, it doesn't stop them opening their mouths and the aroma of bovine faeces appearing.

Dream, I've been vaping for over 4 years & no ill effects at all - in fact just loads of health improvements

Some people dont know the difference between smoking a cig and smoking an ecig, in fact the majority assume its the same thing.

It reminded me of many years ago when i went to India with my BF at that time. I was standing on a balcony of a hotel having a cigarette and someone passing shouted up at me "Do you realise that smoking is a sign of bad character"

Jeez! It obviously made me feel bad as I still remember it to this day. In retrospect I always wished I had shouted back "Do you realise that shouting at strangers is a sign of bad character"...but i didnt think of it in time...i was too embarassed and never smoked in public in india again after that.

No - if her hubby had been smoking an opium pipe he would have laughed his loaf off and danced the guy round the carwash.
