This is a long shot, but what the hell! Does anyone have an imist they no longer want/use that may wish to sell? I'm not sure how cost effective this will be compared to buying new, with postage etc? I seem to have accumulated lots of different tanks/carto's, and although I have found my perfect all day/everyday carto, I still prefer the idea of being able to see how much juice is left. My other tanks/carto's etc are good, but not great, and lack in certain areas like taste/consistency/leakage/breakage etc etc etc. The imist seem like the best of whats left, and had i not spent a fortune already and had seen these first, then I would already have tried them. They look great and the rebuildability of these tick my 'tinkering' box. I bowed down to popular opinion before and bought a stack of Boge SR carto's and i didn't get on with them! So not wanting to make the same mistake twice figure this is the best way of trying before investing lots. Fingers crossed!

The coils are not rebuildable off the shelf Giz..You can only swap the wicks which sits separately..
They are quite cheap to buy new..Try ecigwizard or Liberty Flights. With discount code they work out to about £8 to 8.50 delivered..You can also buy a pack of 5 wicks for about £2.00 from either of them..Remember to pick up some empty tank cartidges as well if you want to try different flavours..

Cheers Macca I realise the price isn't that great, but with all the tanks/carto's etc I've bought to try out, the costs are mounting up astronomically and I'm kinda hoping (dreaming? ) someone may be willing to get rid for cheap cheap??? Incidentally, ecigwizard seem to have a daily facebook discount of about 14%, which makes a full imist, plus 3 spare tanks less than £10, including postage. Not bad, but I'm unwilling to pay that just in case it's another one for the ''not that good, won't use again' shelf

Well Giz, I am one of the few that is not that impressed with the Imist, however, I will use mine quite a bit because it is one of the tanky type atties that does work much better than the others, its a bit airy on the draw for me and I feel it does mute the taste compared to the stardust and carto, but you can still taste the juice and what flavour it is, I just like very strong flavours to taste, not a hint of this or that but a blast of this or that.
So there is a negative side from someone for you, are they worth the money, yes, because they are easy and last a very long time. If I had a sprare I would send you one but I oly bought the one and find it handy and use it quite often. I don't think there are many on here that are not happy with them.

Thanks Sandra I pretty much knew that I wouldn't get much joy, but as the saying goes: "if you don't ask, you don't get!. I am not so much averse to spending the money, as, in the grand scheme of things £10 isn't a large amount, but if it doesn't work as I want it, or expect it to, then that £10 is wasted......along with the money I spent on the carto's and tanks that now reside in the cupboard. I have home made tanks, which work great with my fave carto's, but they aren't the prettiest things, and they're something I want to avoid being seen with when out in public! The VH Stones I got recently are absolutely brilliant, when they don't leak or produce an occasional burnt taste. (I think there is going to be a 'fix' of some sort in the near future?) Until the fix is found for the Stones I'm stuck with carto's, which isn't altogether bad, just not as convenient as I would like... ....if that makes sense? Good to hear the negative side though. I am beginning to put flavour above vapour produced and throat hit now so I may be as unimpressed as you are with them?

Im not greatly impressed with them either ....they seem a tad whimpy for me although flavour isnt bad i cant toot more than two or three draws consecutively until i get a dry hit. however as far as all the new gizmo's go its one of the better products and makes a nice dripping atty with the correct drip tip attached btw the 20% code is still working Giz

Cheers for the info Gordy - I ordered one in the end. It seems people either love these, or are happy enough with them to not want to get rid of them. Makes me curious and think I'm missing out on something potentially great, it also means that I could be waiting for some time before getting one through this thread?! Having said that - if someone has an imist that is heading for the bin feel free to send it my way as I wouldn't mind trying to mod the coil, or at least look at the possibilities? I'd much rather do it on one thats used and in need of it, rather than the usual and try it on one that's new and not broken! (I used to have stardusts that didn't leak )

As someone who's a rebuildable atty girl, I've got so fed up of constantly making coils for my Odysses that I purchased an Imist. Have to say I love it. I've been using it constantly for 3 weeks now and have only had to change the wick once so far. The coil appears to go on and on and just get better although I've probably jinxed it now There is a lack of flavour but as I've been using Imeo's products, (Iatty and Odysses) I'm used to the lack of flavour

How are you getting on with your Giz? Have you tried modding it yet? have you tried dripping with it?

How are you getting on with your Giz? Have you tried modding it yet? have you tried dripping with it? So far so good! I've had it now for about 10 days and I am pretty impressed I must say! It ticks all boxes for me in my throat hit, flavour and vapor requirements and there isn't the faintest sign of leakage of any sorts! I had a bit of a 'wobble' within the first day or two as I changed flavour on 3 occasions, and each time the previous flavour seemed to hang around for far too long, and even now I'm not convinced I'm getting the complete flavour of the juice thats been in there now for a good 8 days...? I haven't tried modding it yet - I really am restraining myself as I don't want to kill something that isn't dead yet....I'm still hoping that someone reads this thread and has a dead one that I can tinker with???.... I haven't tried dripping either - I haven't even looked to see how I would drip with it, although from past experience I probably won't as I find it annoying to constantly reach for the bottle when vaping. Might give it a bash though just to compare? The tanks hold enough juice to last me a day at work, which isn't saying much as I can't vape openly and I have to sneak to the loo's, but it works for me. If I take it out with me I carry a bottle of juice as re-filling is easy enough. I've found that by pressing the nozzle of the bottle onto the o-ring of the tank it creates a seal which allows filling with no mess...although if not released 1 or 2 times throughout filling, the pressure in the tank forces some juice out. I have recently bought a couple of stardust tubes to try and revive the leaking stradusts I have, but to no avail as the innards won't fit. Not to be deterred I ordered some complete stardusts which arrived today and side by side with the imist there isn't much difference. All in all I would rate the imist near the top of my favourite carto/atty/tank list. Knowing I can change the wick easily (Not tried yet) and cheaply is a bonus, but I really want to be able to recoil it as well, and then it would be at the top of the list! When funds allow I shall be ordering some more!
