I was only trying to get you to worry less, not more.. Gotta agree with Macca on this Boo. I take it that you used to smoke...what about your "precious lungs" then? Yes, study hard enough and you'll find some risk associated with every single element of vaping, but that's life. Are you gonna stay in bed all your life...cos 20 people every year are killed by electrocution from their alarm clocks, and another 20 are killed annually by falling as they get out of bed. Just sayin!

Are you gonna stay in bed all your life...cos 20 people every year are killed by electrocution from their alarm clocks, and another 20 are killed annually by falling as they get out of bed. Just sayin! That kind of thinking is no different than, 'Why give up smoking - I might get run over by a bus tomorrow.' 20 people may be killed by alarm clock electrocution - these are freak accidents. Inhaling particles of fibreglass into your lungs (assuming this is harmful), or inhaling fag smoke into your lungs and then getting very sick - these have nothing to do with random chance. They are things which we actively do to ourselves which increase the probability of harm. Now, if these 20 people were waking up and banging their alarm clocks against their skulls until their brains splattered out - then you would have a point. I'm guessing the main reason people quit smoking is because it is bad for their health and may kill them....therefore vapers care about their health and would rather not die.....so we examine everything carefully when making our vaping purchases, not just our wallets. If people wanna bury their heads in the silica, that's up to them. I adore vaping but I also adore my health. Inhaling the vapour from heated PG or Vg and some nicotine and some flavourings probably IS miles better than inhaling smoke, but gotta remember that wick. Damage limitation, that's what I'm talking about. Fiberglass may be fine, or it may not be fine. I don't want to take that chance with my 'precious lungs', which I have worked hard on bringing back to decent health. What about my 'precious lungs' back then? They were filled with tar and gunk because I was an addict, and I was aware of that, and I stupidly carried on smoking regardless, but I'm not stupid anymore, and that is the point.
