Hello I've just got my first e cig today! Got the smokers halo looks like a real cig with re chargeable battery and pre filled ends/tips/cartridges. I'm trying to find out how many puffs = a normal cig and is it normal to have a bit of a sore throat when using and e cig?

Most pre filled cartos "tips" only last the equivalent of about 5-8 real cigs.

Some people do get a sore throat to begin with & that could be down to the type of e-liquid the cartos are pre filled with.

Welcome to the forum pixiguru. For the sore throat make sure you drink plenty fluids when vaping or try the nice cool menthol.

Thanks I've thought about counting the puffs lol bit sad but......I'm missing real cigs at the mo but I've only had 2 since getting it. I'll have one before I go to bed and one in the morning! It is menthol I've got since I smoke menthol cigs.

It's difficult to put a figure on how many puffs a cigarette = as everyone takes different length draws.

That Is really good, You should be proud, My better half has tried It and she has cut down on real smokes a lot now. Remember E-Cigs Is not a cessation device and every real smoke you dont have Is a very good step In the right direction, Bit of a win win situation

I got the starter kit with 2 batteries and 10 cartridges and charger also a free mini kit with a battery case charger and 2 high capacity cartridges all for the bargain price of £30 including postage. So a total of 3 batteries 12 cartridges 2 chargers and a case. I'd tried a friends and he really recommended this one so went for it. I'm trained in smoking cessation but don't actually want to give up just save cash by cutting down to about 3-4 a day.

Their refills aren't cheap though & £6.99 for a 10ml bottle of juice is expensive.

The main problem though with the ciggie lookalikes is battery life. They need recharging so often.

Yep it that one from www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk/ cartridges are £10.99 for 5 high capacity. If each one lasts a few days then I'll be happy I'm only a 10-15 a day smoker now so hopefully won't need that much...........
