Dream the Riva has thinner wires inside than the eGo batteries. The extra heat generated by a LR atty can overheat these thin wires and could cause the battery to fail

Thankyou Ellen for the link, but why do they punch holes in them, where do they punch the holes? I don't know the mechanics of it, but I presume it's the holes near the threads that you find on all other cartomisers....when I was researching it I couldn't figure out why some come without punches and then you have to buy a special cartomiser hole puncher, seemed like unnecessary faff and expense. I'm sure there's some logic behind it but I didn't find out what it was

Thankyou Ellen for the link, but why do they punch holes in them, where do they punch the holes? In a carto tank the carto sits inside the tank full of liquid. The tiny hole is punched near the bottom of the carto so that the juice from the tank soaks into the carto to be vaped

A carto tank is really simple. It uses a basic carto which like any carto needs to be kept wet. so you either buy pre punched cartos or punch a hole yourself. You fill the carto, pop it in the tank then fill the tank, the juice around the carto feeds the carto through the hole!
Hope that makes sense.

OMG, it's all starting to make sense!!!! I'm going over what you have all written and it's making more sense to me now, seriously I said this before and I'll say it again "What would I and others like myself do without you all and the aaec forum? Brilliant you are all a star. I'm so happy that everything makes sense and I've learnt a new thing regarding the tanks and holes regarding the cartos

If you want something that Holds a good amount of Joose and gives good flavour I would say try a Vision Vivi Nova. I got one and it is excellent, I also got the steel tube to fit it as I am nervous about glass and plastic getting broken too easily
