be interesting to know which method worked as in the past checkdisk has caused irreversible damage, it was a while back though either XP or 98.
i wonder if annies laptop had lost the ability to read XD files, never heard of them personally.

I got my son to follow your instructions for me raggy Ragjoy. I have Olympus XD picture cards in both my Olympus cameras they are what came with them originally. My laptop runs on windows 7.

It was strange because my laptop would read one card but not the other.

what i meant annie was did you use check disk or copy too internal camera memory.
oh, and this wasnt my brains at work it was my friend google.
