lol Perpy Jason, ive heard that these triple coils are specifically aimed at 5v+ vaping.I cant see them getting to 5v on the Provari as they are 1.6ohm and you will just get an error code.So i was planning on using them on my 101 or GDVV.Im sure Gary said the dual coils tripped the safety on his 101.Hmm,im not to sure about these triple coils at all.How can they be 1.6ohm yet be designed for HV vaping?I saw the chap on the video and he was vaping them at 6v ???Toby did explain the reason to me but im still a bit baffled how a cartomiser of 1.6ohm can work at 6v without going bang

I've ordered a couple ( getting as bad as Ian now ) so I'll report back when they've been road tested . . . I've ordered one. I take it that it'll be okay on the GGTB?

Ian, uk-eliquid.co.uk 1@£2.60 5@£12.99 less 10% discount (I think) plus p&p
Site says in red that it will kill ego type batts.
I'm using AW1767 and hoping that will be beefy enough ???

Many thanks for that Clutter. From researching these things a bit it seems that you need to vape them at 5v+ to get the most out of them.Im a little concerned as to what people have said(including modders) about the strain these things could put on batteries and switches.I will wait and see how others get on just incase they are indeed mod killers.Damn this new stuff is getting confusing, all i know for certain is that they sound quite a risk to me.

Threads here www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clouds-vapor/200372-smoktech-triple-coil-cartomizers.html and here www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/198480-triple-coil-cartos-ready.html (see post #79 in this one) I wasn't too sure I really understood what some of them were on about - aimed at the electronically sophisticated I think, which I am most definitely NOT! They definitely sounded like very specialist beasts indeed so I have decided to skip these ones because I just don't have the expertise to know if what I'd be doing with them is dangerous or not. I am a little concerned that these don't sound as if most vapers will know enough about ohms, volts, watts etc to decide for themselves if these are a good idea to use with their kit or not. I'm pretty sure I don't. If they did destroy a load of batteries there will be lots of unhappy customers if HC advice that they can be used with eGos turned out to be wrong. One small point - on the HC site both the Triples and Dual Coils are shown as 'Health Cabin' brand rather than the Smoktech ones the ECF people are on about but I really don't know if this means they would have been manufactured somewhere else or not. Perhaps Amy could clarify this?

Its certainly not the case with the 1.5ohm Boge cartos Lindsay, they perform faultless and give a far superior vape to any other cartomiser, including the dual coils.I dont think the dual coils are anything special at 3.7v,they need 5v to perform for me It's interesting how opinions very so widely, but many times it's in the fine details. I was long time Boge 2Ω user at about ~4.6V with PG juices. Bought some 1.5Ω and flat out didn't like them. The SmokTech 1.5Ω DCs I really like and mostly because they work so well at ~3.5V. Oh Well.

It all just goes to show how diverse our vaping likes/dislikes are I think Johnny . . . we're lucky to have so much variety to choose from . . . although the wallets/purses may think differently.

I agree that everything vaping is totally personal preference.I like throat hit to the max and im yet to have a product that delivers better throat hit than the 1.5ohm Boges.Oh well if they have been discontinued a 3ohm Boge on the Provari at 5-5.5v does the same job i suppose.Im so glad i got my VVs now

Is there a 2.0 ohm cartomizer that fits onto a Joye eGo 650 battery? I use Boge 2.3 ohm cartomizers for my Joye eGo 650 battery but was wondering if there was a 2.0 ohm one around that would work properly on it.

The Boge Low Resistance sold over here are 2ohm Sellaman. You will need the 510 version for the eGo battery.
