Collie, most cats wont eat food if it's not at least at room temperature. They can't smell the food if it is chilled from being kept in a fridge.

Bel, even though mum Daisy is mainly white, she would be classified as a tortie due to her black & ginger markings. I can see the tortie kitten in the first pic - under her paw. Did you keep that kitten? If not, are you sure it was male? Yeah daisy is a torti lol the kitten was the only torti she had, she was a girl called sooki who is living with one of my friends, did i say she was a boy lol??

Mine cost a fair bit to feed - the 8 Maine Coons mainly have Royal canine Exigent with some wet food mixed in plus my dear old moggie, Merlin, has been for many years on a prescription diet due to him being prone to struvite. But for me the the biggest expense is vet bills - even routine things like wormers, flea treatment, inoculations add up to a heck of a lot when you multiply the cost by 9 cats. I always get my frontline and worming tablets on line, from viovet so much cheaper than the vets

Lol Bel, you said in post#730 "So i had a rare male tortoishell and didnt know it sounds about right for me ???" So I thought you meant the tortie kitten I've found that the Frontline spot on doesn't work so well any more nor their prescription only Frontline Combo so changed to Stronghold which is also POM. Not found much difference in price online of the non POM wormers.

We had a bad case of fleas a couple of years ago and the only thing that got rid was the cheapo wilkinson own brand stuff. We tried frontline and a few others and now we just use the wilkinsons flea and worming stuff.

It seems to work for us, my mum has to use frontline on her doggy Doodles as she has sensitive skin and anything else affects her quite badly, but she uses the wilkinsons stuff on the cats.

Well! Who'da thunk it, Wilkinsons Vets are always telling us that only the prescription stuff works @ ££ per treatment. I wonder if Wilkinsons sell on eBay? scylla
