Hey TJ .. Do you still have this? Been watching for one to pop up on the for sale section. Would happily buy it from you to let me get some use out of the Coolfire1.

Our Wi-Fi wasn't working last night so I sat and chatted with the wife, surprised to hear she no longer works at Woolworths!!

They are superb Stomper I have a friend with a brother who had a business of doing exactly that but there simply wasn't enough work to keep him going, it was a work of art to watch him though, far more patience than me. I also have a couple of friends who went on a course with me years ago who are making a huige success of it . Their father is a pilot and the cars they get are unbelievable. I done cars valued over £250000 last year but they have that value through their doors in a month . Its all about doing the right cars for the right people and if i were to turn it into a business i would get involved with car clubs and dealers etc to make it work.

Concourse is achieved on newer cars like show cars etc. On older cars like this there's always something which prevents it from being so. With the Capri there were a couple of rust bubbles and areas inside the engine bay which would have stopped it becoming concourse. Washing the car using the 2 bucket method will keep it in pristine condition. It's quite therapeutic and worth it considering what you pay to get it like that in the 1st place. The two bucket method with grit guards in the buckets in the video I have seen before and can see the point, but I also thought you were supposed to gently rinse the dirt off before you apply the soapy sponge, not blast it off with a high pressure blast which can drive the grit in to the paintwork ???
I don't use as high pressure as that but i don't believe it will do any more damage than a normal hose , if so it would remove more dirt lessening the chance of turning your sponge or mitt into a sheet of sandpaper. The jury is still out on that.

Is this finish what might be called Concours Stomper . Because it is truly magnificent from the pics. Be too scared to drive the car like that. Edit..I think most of us would require a good few instructions on simply washing a car without scratching it? And here's another couple after wet sanding practice. This process is usually reserved for removing deeper scuffs and scratches or the dreaded orange peel found on newer cars, especially BMW's . Not every car has enough paint for this type of work.
