Don't know if it is convenient for you Stomper but a few of us gather in the Constitution Bar in Edinburgh on the first Saturday of every month. The August gathering has been cancelled due to Vapefest but we'll be back to normal on Saturday 3rd of September starting about 12 ish. Thanks to Greg there will be one helluva tasting session going on as he has donated a vape shop size stash that he will be sending to taz96 for us to try, along with the usual new flavours there is to try each month and the fall out which we bring back from Vapefest. It's also a good place if your having a bit of trouble with your gear, there's not much we haven't been able to sort out. macmagoo is an excellent source of knowledge (a real gentleman) and is good with problem solving.
Edit: apart from a shed load of juice, there will also be a fair range of mods and tanks you can get up close and personal with before deciding to buy any. That sounds excellent striker42 . I normally work a Saturday but with enough notice i could swing that. Be good to put some faces to names too. |

You got a real bargain there Stomper ... SVD was my first mod over 3 years ago, a cracking mod that takes all sizes of 18mm batteries. Thanks mate. Ordered my first mod 3 weeks ago and its still not shipped so i am grateful for sales like this. Edge looked after me last week and got a mod and drippers to me with a load of extras which was way above and beyond. I'm glad i found my way here as i was going round in circles trying to figure it all out. |

I use max vg so basically I only get the pg which the flavours are suspended in. It's definitely smooth and with 3mg nic I find is enough throat hit for me at 80w. When I started I wanted throat hit to be strong, but these days I don't need that much. As far as flavours go in max vg, I find it's all down to a longer steeping time. Some recipes may say like 4 weeks steep yet I often find around 6 weeks will be better in my high vg mixes. I don't buy any pg anymore but that's just the way I like it  Wow! 4-6 weeks , better get my finger out. |

You may need to increase the amount of flavouring as VG is not as good flavour carrier as PG. I have a sweet tooth so make all my mixes at 25% anyway . Would this still be sufficient? |

Also Stomper , if you find the vg too thick for mixing purposes, get youself some avg, which is vg mixed with 10%(ish) purified and ionised water. Makes mixing and filling much easier.  Thanks tim, i'll look out for it. |

Thanks guys'n'girls. Have made myself some new juice,s a mixture of 50/50s and 60/40s all with half nicotine. Once they're ready i'll be able to decide what suits me better. I should have known by the size of the forum and amount of threads this was going to get out of hand.  And with this post i am now not a new member but a junior member. 0.4ohm coil has a power range of 40-60w Thanks. That's the info i have struggled to find. I'm currently running it at 30w |

I am currently using a Koopor mini with an Aspire Cleito and 50/50 juices. Is this the reason i dont get a big vapour cloud? Should i adjust my mixes to say 60/40 or even 70/30 . The cleito has an 0.4ohm coil in it. Should i be reducing my nicotine too as the throat hit is what i think is restricting my draw. Do i need to change any settings on my Koopor? Thanks in advance...... What mg are you on? More vg will give better flavor and denser clouds, but it will reduce throat hit. Pg is basically throat hit. To gain bigger clouds it's down to the coil, ratio of juice and airflow Im on 12mg at the moment. Im not sure i need a throat hit so much. I think i would prefer a flavour hit. I will reduce my PG content in the next mixes i make . Thanks |

Mike, i'm really new to all this and just bought one this morning, i asked for one which had a rebuildable coil so ended up with this. I am using a Koopor mini , what wattage do you use? What's all the rubber things in the box for and is thespare 0.2 ohm coil any good?

Didn't see this as i went out to buy a tank off the shelf. Got fed up waiting as my first order still hasn't been dispatched from china yet. Ordered one from selling page here but that wont arrive till next week.
Ended up with an Aspire Cleito which i think is ok although as i haven't tried any others yet.
