Well unfortunately whispy vaping was never going to satisfy a lot of us and by natural progression a lot of us have moved onto subbing. Some, yes. Others, like myself - no. Although I'll certainly concede I have moved on considerably from the initial power/watt/cloud output I obtained from my initial Evod/cartotank level gear to the RTA gear I now find satisfactory. I'm happy with 16-18 watts on 1.1 ohm coils, but I can recognise that output may well not be enough to "do it" for some. I don't understand the term "natural progression". It's neither. Just different. I think most vapers of the sort who'd frequent forums like this are the sort to have "progressed on from" their initial "starter" gear onto equipment that delivers "more". I think it's a case of just how far on from that starter gear they choose to go and if that progression goes into the "sub-ohm" and "high watts" areas that can generate the "big clouds". That said - I also think many "general vapers" of the sort who do not face book or forum about vaping, those to whom vaping is simply a means to an end of smoking, may well often stay with the gear that got them off the smokes. ... Consideration of others when vaping in public is down to a person's demina though, just like many other things people do. And that, I think, is the core of the issue. |

Interesting about the battery cases thing.
We have a "go-to battery guy" in Oz (sorta like Torchy in the UK and Mooch in the US). Ours is known as "Supersports". I've only ever bought Vaping batteries from Supersports. Every battery I've ever received has always been shipped in a very usable secure plastic reusable case. Isn't this standard for all vendors?

As far as the exploding batteries goes: Unfortunately battery/charging failure reflects on what they are installed in. We've had a bunch of cheapie imported "hoverboards" (you know, the Segway without handlebars things that seem so popular nowdays) that have gone "poof" and often when charging. All the media is going nutzo over the boards but not the crap inadequate chargers/users/batteries/electronics installed to a very low price point (and, perhaps, not to our electrical standards) *shrug* What can you do? Aside, of course, from being personally responsible with your own gear and when offering advice to folk who ask.

MTL for vaping; DTL for ventolin inhalers. Donno about the ventolin things (fortunately) - but I do agree with the other bit. DaveJ re. bicycles:- that was Me EXACTLY last boxing day! (Mountain bike for the Lad's pressie...Dad takes it 'for a spin'...nearly dies...lesson learnt!) Yeah... hehe... iffn ya absolutely must try those confounded kids toys (say, in cases like: " here hold my beer...."), then the lesson is "shiny side up". *grin* |
