Cheers for the replies everyone. I know custard etc are heavy on the coils but it's all I like to vape. I get the coils for £13.50 for 5 from vaporized, which last me about 2 1/2 weeks. There's a guy on eBay selling supposed genuine coils for £10 so I might give them a bash. Have any of you got experience with the occ coils as opposed to the ssocc? I've read that they reduce the tank capacity but not much more than that.

Hi, I use a kangertech subvod which is fitted with a subtank nano. I use 1.2 ohm kangertech ssocc coils with it. I vape DIY tjuice colonel custard but find I go through a lot of coils. They don't burn out, just stop producing a satisfying 'hit' after 3 days of moderate vaping. What are my other coil options compatible with the subvod and top tank nano? Fancy exploring my options. Thanks in advance.

Cracked a bottle of juice as a sample after only 3 day steep n it's great! Very surprised. If it's this good after 3/7, can't wait to try in 2/52! She's very smooth, vapor rich n plenty of custard flavour!

Aye I'm prepared for the steep. Have any of you guys tried cabella vanilla custard? Is it better as one of many ingredients, in a more complex mix, or is it ok as a single concentrate mix?

It's pre-mixed 50/50 vg/pg. I'm aware this will give me higher vg than pg in the final mix, as the nic is in a vg base, but that'll be ideal as its a custard flavour. Cheers for the confirmation. I'm going to go n get gloved up n started!

Yeah I've had a look at a couple. I'm just doing colonel custard concentrate to start. Pretty easy. Going to mix 150ml total: 12.5ml nic 72mg vg, 107.5ml 50/50 pg/vg n 30ml concentrate, so going 20% of concentrate. By my reckoning this should be 6% nic or thereabouts. Starting out simple with pre-mix concentrate before I consider embarking on alchemy! This sound about right to u? Cheers

Hi, I've just joined the group! Been vaping for just over a month but vaped for a year 2 years ago, came off that, totally nic free for 6 months then ended up back on the stinkers! I'm on a subvod n my liquid of choice is colonel custard. Just got a load of stuff delivered to start diy'ing. Love vaping, much better than fags!
