hi and welcome to AAEC its never a good idea to run any mod on full power. its always good to have headroom so if you vape at 30watts then a 50-70watt mod would be better and safer. what tank and coil are you using on th istick. my istick is over 2 years old now and used every day and it either has nautilus at 12watts or subtank mini at 16watts. the protection is normally caused by the tank coil but it could be straining the battery and showing protection but ive never seen that before. i mainly subohm at 50-60watts max and have 2 x alien mods which can run at 220watts I use a kangertech sub tank not sure what size. I used to have the nano but now use the next model up. Thanks for all the advice guys. Will try cleaning the 510 first but think if vaping at this wattage is a problem for it then I need a better battery.

Hi all
I'm a bit of a newbie but not a total newbie. I have a eleaf istick 30w and for the past week it's been playing up. When I have it on 30w it keeps saying protection? I use it on 30w all the time but now I can't use it above 20w so not getting much of a pull on it. Anyone know how to solve this?
