Steve, heat the .2 wire up with a lighter till it glows orange before you make your coil, it becomes far more pliable and allows a more precise coil. The .2 has a higher resistance than the .15 so it means you can make more coils for the same ohms. Did you mean that the other way round Blakey, in that the .2 has a lower resistance than the .15 per foot?

Hi Andy, I have some wire that I can send you a bit of to try out if you want, it is these specs: Kanthal A-1 Resistance wire Made by Hallstahammar Sweden Maximum continuous temp- 2550 degrees F Resistance- 13.81 ohm/ft 45.3 ohm/m. Wire Diameter- 0.008" / 0.20 mm. Wire Gauge- 32awg Nichrome - Nickel 60% Chromium 16% Iron / balance , resistance wire Maximum continuous temp- 2100 degrees F / 1150 degrees C Resistance- 10.97 ohm/ft 35.98 ohms/m Wire Diameter- 0.008" / 0.2 mm Wire Gauge- 32awg I believe that the differance between the two are that in some cases the Nichrome can stretch a bit under the heat and the contact might become loose, but that all depends on how it was put on etc. From the spec's above you wil be able to work out what would be the best thickness for you. I am sure that there will be someone else that will give their own thoughts and experiances on the wire that they have used

Hello and welcome to the mad house. I have not been on UKV but have heard quite a few nice things about them, and I believe that there are a few on here that are also in the UKV group. It is one of the things that makes this Forum so special is that it is so friendly and helpful and we perfer to help people out in any way we can and not rubbish ones that have not. Just thinkof it like a saying my dad used to say. "You get more with honey than you do with vinegar"

So are you happy that you now have got what you want? I did forget to add that if you order 5 or over they drop to £1.50 each which is a real bargain

That is what i'm meaning. Like I know Moju is based in bristol but its now showing up there at all. I am also not only talking about regular shops but the vendors that run a business that are willing for people to come round & collect in person

We have a map of forum members, but from reading a few posts & getting texts from friends who have ran out of juice etc & want to know where they can go to get things quickly. I had a thought, how about a map of the suppliers who can actually be visited to pick up those certain thing that just can't be waited for. I know that a lot of suppliers do not actually have a shop other than online but would they be ok if someone turns up by appointment to collect something in person?

You will like it Debs, Like I said before, that for the price I though it would just come in a bag, not a lovely presentation box. The juice with it is not too bad either.

I have something similar to that but it a 3 teir fishing box just for my juices I have another storage box for my batteries and a little one for my drip tips. I am on the huny for a decent one for my attys and stuff plus a good little one for my travel one which will be a grab bag type ready for a few days away. I also need something to store my mod stuff in as that is accumulating quite rapidly. (I keep breaking things open to see if they can be modded and adding them to my collection
