Please don't shoot me down for asking what l expect seems a dumb question but l am struggling trying to get back onto e cigs and could do with advice or even suggestions etc? I have copd( lungs) & have discovered l am allergic to the PG ingredient so am struggling with it all, l vaped happily for 5 years using jossie juice 30pg/70vg 10/12 nicotine. then i went back to smoking (long boring story) but l am desperately trying to get back to vaping. l have a Aspire Zelos that i used with 1.8 coil but find i can only turn it up to aprox 5.5 & on the smallest airflow hole so can't actually taste any flavour & l Need to be able to taste the flavour that is what makes the difference for me but l also know the flavour is the PG - see my problem?? After trying all different scenario's l decided to get a different kit and try that so l did some research and bought the Aspire Nano with a 1.8 coil with a 65/35pg nic salt liquid, oh ought to mention that i am also allergic to any of the liquids with berries in. I am using this latest set up but i still can't taste anything as yet, l appreciate it takes a time for taste buds etc, on this kit you have 3 settings for the battery l have it on the lowest purely due to if i turn it up there is too much vapour and starts me coughing - Does anyone know if by having it on the lowest setting with 1.8 coil and the nic salt l mentioned if this sounds as if it should be ok in theory please? l have been advised to go for MTL as i am a smoker but l don't actually know what the alternative is anyone fancy filling me in on this please? Also what is the difference between Mesh Coils and the normal ones would i be better off with a mesh coil?? Hopefully someone will have some ideas for me  |

Hi sharon16 .... If you click on Forum Help on the menu bar at the top, one of the posts (Reply#3) explains how to post pictures. Note, you need to use desktop mode if using a mobile. You can't copy and paste. Thanks l have figured it out now  |

 I have changed my kit around so this one is surplus to requirements so looking for a new home. There is the Aspire Zelos Battery with 2 Tanks + 1 new usb cable £30 + postage please. Many Thanks to everyone that has been helping me get back onto vaping it is a slow road but hopefully l will make it a pleasant one eventually. |

l took the pic with my camera and it won't let me copy and paste that either, is it me being thick???

Happy Christmas to one and all I have been struggling trying to get back to vaping due to the PG/VG ratio that i need to have as i have copd (lung disease) i have vaped successfully for 5 years but then it all went wrong & l am back on the ciggys  I have been struggling with my Aspire Zelos as i can only put the W upto 5.5 & l can only use 30pg/70vg liquids as i am alergic to a component of the PG. So as you can see I NEED HELP!!!! This is where i am at - l have a Aspire Zelos Nano Starter Kit in my basket as it is mouth to lung which is what i want BUT i am now struggling to find the E Liquids that i can get in 12/14 nic stengh + 30pg/70vg ?? l did try a Nic Salts and can see what people say about them being smoother l would be quite happy to try them with the new kit in the hope the combination would work ? From reading this ( hopefully someone does have time) Have i missed anything glaring obvious to you that will hinder my success please? Thanks for anyone that can spare 5 mins to help or advise me it would be great to start the new year off as a non smoker again and l know my Lungs will be extremely grateful for any help |

Hi MrDJ thank for response, i have heard about the nic salts before any idea of the best site to find them please? when you say 20mg feels like a 3mg are you referring to the nic mg? i would be willing to give almost anything a try at this time lol

Hi sharon16 and welcome back to AAEC i cant help much with the pg affecting you side of things but while you wait for others to advise heres a couple of options. i initally first gave up the smokes with the blu pro pen back in 2015 but since found a better pen type that uses 1.6ohm dual coil. i know its going backwards after using the zelos which was similar to my second kit (istick30 and nautilus mini) but its worth a shot www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=vapouriz+fuse&i=drugstore&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 only problem is that this will need 50vg/50pg and if you are allergic/intolerent to pg then maybe not the right move. i have no idea how you are getting any flavour only using 6.5watts especially as using 70vg juice as that is quite thick for the low watt mouth to lung coils. another option is nic salts which come in 10mg or 20mg. they are much smoother than standard nicotine and give a faster nic hit so you dont need as much. i think these are mainly 50vg/50pg but might not aggrivate as much. only tried a few but 20mg feels like 3mg to me but chain vaping is a nono as you will get a head rush much quicker. hope that helps in some small way and hopefully others will be along to advise further. |

Hi haven't been on here for a number of years due to happily vaping away But a few years ago i fell off the vaping wagon as it hit a bump in the road  I have been trying to switch back to vaping but it is becoming a real nightmare as it isn't working like it did before and i am in need of Real HELP now  This is the short version of my journey so far, get a cuppa get comfy here we go As i said i switched to vaping back in 2012 i think it was that worked instantly and was happy for 5 years then, i have copd (lung disease) so smoking is a very dangerous pastime for me but vaping seemed to be fine as i managed to come off the neutralizer i was using to aid my breathing and go on a regular inhaler so was very happy, the way i managed vaping with dodgy lungs was to do normal every day but when i noticed i was starting to cough more i would reduce the nicotine level down ( Joose Juice make my liquids for me as they worked with me to achieve the perfect mix as PG can irate my lungs so it has to be on the low side) i was doing fine got down to about 6mg nic level then it all went wrong i could no longer taste the flavor and the cravings started (it took 5 yrs so not so bad ) but i couldn't settle anymore on ecigs as couldn't increase the nic mg and couldn't stay as it was so ended up back on the ciggy's I have been trying for a while now to get back onto vaping as my lungs are getting worse & i know if i can do it my lungs will settle down again but the issues i am having is mainly i can't taste any flavor. i am using a Aspire Zelos on 6.5 watt with a airflow adjuster? I use a liquid mix of 30pg / 70 vg mix that is made up for me. i have been told i need to turn up the watt but if i go any higher i can't cope with it and have a real coughing fit which results in me not being able to breath properly due to not breathing when you cough too much. I recently bought a Septre Innokin to try but that was awful way too powerful for me so that is a definite no no. I know the flavor is related to the strength of PG but i can only cope with the strength that i can cope with nothing i can do about it so my thought is maybe i need to go back to basics kit wise and get something that isn't as powerful while my lungs get used to it again? i used to use a vape pen i think it was called the tank had the wicks you replaced not sure if they are still around anymore though or the best place to buy kits from so any advice on that would be brilliant? IF anyone reads this and can understand what i am trying to achieve please feel free to pm me .
