Have any of you been to the Dogs Trust homing places, the nearest to me is in Bridgend and its like a hotel compared to our local RSPCA, I couldn't believe how nice it was. Just had a look, closest to me is 80 miles, not to far. Here are the dogs there - www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/default.aspx?dogCentre=ILF#.UDPREallTkd Ted looks cheeky but adult only home

It is a lovely thing to re-home an unwanted dog but if you have kids/other pets/etc etc and know what you're doing a puppy is often better as it can be brought up within the existing household and trained by you so you are therefore not inheriting other people's problems! I agree karma but had visions of a little dog who was a companion to a elderly owner who may of passed or now be incapable of caring for it (which the first dogs home said they have a lot of) but they also said they have a lot of staffie types that "youths" have as a status symbols that have aggressive behavior breed into them. Poor dogs, who could provide a suitable home for those?

I grew up with a dog, a lhaso apso called gizmo (google them and you will know why...LOL). We lost her at the age of 14, she was a family member. Fast forward 6 years and we now feel ready for another. Now this is a bit of a rant, so bear with me. We want another toy breed, non malting and good with kids dog. Scoured our local paper and saw pug pups for sale with no price, phoned the seller they were asking £1450 per pup How about re-homing a dog I thought. We have 3 main dog homes in Cornwall. I phoned the first, they dismissed me straight away because I have a child. The second said they have non "suitable" and would NOT take my number but advised me to keep checking the website. The third said they might have a dog but it involved a 200 mile round trip to meet the foster career followed by a visit to my home followed by a £150 adoption fee. What has happened to mongrels? People seem to randomly mix 2 breeds together, join there names and charge a fortune, e.g cocker spaniel and poodle pups are called cockerpoo's and cost £600+ Why are dog homes so anti homing? After calling ours, i came away feeling very negative about trying to do a good thing So, if anyone in Cornwall knows of a small dog needing a home, let me know. Rant over.

The most likely reason is that batteries are useless or have outlived their usefulness. Another test you can do is put a drained battery in your charger and see how long they take to charge. If they charge too quick, then usually the battery is dead. If you have known good battery try it on the charger. The charging could be knackered too and not charging up the batteries but that would be my second port of call. I would get the protected 18350 from Totally Wicked if they still do them or a couple of 18350 IMR's from Moju and try them first. No good batteries mate but thanks for your advice, Sunday night time.

More likely batteries not holding the charge and draining under load..Will show correct voltage under open circuit and will drain fully under load almost immediately.. If you put the battery in the mod and test across the connector and get the same 4 volts, that's the most likely reason. That sounds exactly like what is happening macca, but what is the most likely reason.....LOL.....sorry for my noobness

Could be a faulty mod. Somehow its shorted the batteries. Id contact the vendor mate. I was dreading that reply mate, purchased it of a member on here. Is there a way, with a multimeter and very little knowledge, of testing the mod? Could the "universal" charger not of knackered the batts?
