Anyone got one of these bad boys going spare? Not silver or blue though, so that will be a black one I guess. Cash waiting. Tia

Fast and well packaged. Better than a well known online auction site 😉

Brilliant! He'll probably come into his own next year. Some of my flowering plants have just flowered. I need to cut them back hard after to encourage bushiness etc. It's all trial and error. Best I get rid of the weeds too (eventually)
A weed is only a plant in the place where you don't want it ...

Scratch the stems. Any brown bits, cut them off. They're dead. Good job on his revival. Looks like he'll come back better than ever! Do you mean his branches? I feel like I’ll be cutting him down as I’m sure most of them are dead? Sorry I’m new to all of this Only if there's no life in them. You want him to concentrate his energy into the new shoots which will become branches. I'm sure it's better to prune when dormant, November time??!! Or you could wait until next spring and see what has survived I'd be tempted to just wait. With those new shoots, it looks like he's adapting. I cut down a huge bush to about 2 inches to basically kill it off, but it's grown back better than before. Nature is amazing! I'm also umming and ahhing whether to chop down a fig tree to enable it to produce lower branches but I'm very hesitant and also waiting til spring.

Looking for the ceramic plug/baffle and rubber bits for avocado bottom feed airflow rdta if anyone has a couple spare. These are slightly bigger than the avocado24. Bit of a long shot cos these are ancient, much like myself

He's . You've ripped him up and put him in a strange environment (to him). His leaves have lost their energy because he is now needing his strength in his roots to adapt. He will come back next year. What you could do is scratch the bark (gently!)in about 2 or 3 weeks to see if it's still green. I repotted a small fig tree but managed to rip off half its roots. It looked dead for ages but then sprouted leaves and now seems quite happy at about a foot high. Don't be tempted to bin him. Would it help if I deleafed him like you would deadhead other plants ? No, you've tortured him enough. The leaves will fall off in due course. Leave him be. water but not too much. You could sit next to him and profusely apologise. All I'd advise to do is let him recover in his own sweet time. This may be next spring. He'll look a bit worse for wear until then but things are working in nature's miraculous way where you can't see it happening.
