I would be happy to go back to the same venue again, the camping idea made it great, it would have been improved if there'd have been food available for breakfast though. There could have been 2 food stalls and a bar at either end of the event and they would have still all been busy. The long queues for food made it a bit of a nightmare.
The other idea would be to charge £10 entrance and give each person 5 raffle tickets as part of the entrance charge that way there would be money coming from everyone who attended and no need to set up a separate stall just to sell the raffle tickets. I noticed that quite a few were only buying 1 or 2 tickets, by making it part of the entrance charge there would be more money in the kitty.

VE Jason was talking to me this morning about having a marquee for aaec members to sit and chill out in for next year.   If it rains as much as it did these year Jason could we have some hammocks in there too |

I'm so glad I finally made it this year, was lovely to meet everyone and reconnect with old friends. A maoohsive thank you to Pep for the loan of the tent, to Aaron for helping to put it up and Vaping Bad for the loan of the air mattress. If not for the noisy bloody lot next to us yakking away really loudly until 5 am I would have had a great nights sleep I was so tired last night when I put the photo's up that I didn't have the energy to post so if anyone wants to tag the photos please feel free to do so |
