In non technical terms = Remove that plastic thing round the post. Pull out the long post , you may need pliers. you are sat now looking at a small metal cup shape. You can see a metal coil with some silica through the centre. Take a pair of tweezers. Very gently pull the silica from one side, until it all comes out, very gently. Bit by bit. You should then be looking at a metal cup shape with a piece of coiled metal in the middle. The aim now is to take some cotton, or silica and thread it through that metal coil. The knack to doing this is to take a decent length of material used try to judge the thickness, twist and wet one end and try to thread it through, if it gets stuck, remove and thin out a little, once it goes through not too easily but not pulling, chop the ends off so that they sit flush with the outer edges of the middle tube. Fluff the sticking out ends up a bit with a needle or anything really. Pop the post back on and push down to secure, then put the plastic bit back on so it looks like the pic above again. This is brilliant thanks so much, the only problem i foresee is my eyesight is not brill these days so not sure if il be able to see the coil even if it isn't attached to the cotton wool. one thing i have noticed is there is hardly any cottonwool to grab hold off with the tweezers and think that could be why im having problems but the stuff i have got out is jet black so this is the cause of my original problems so thanks for your support with this issue. im now going to get my son on the case his eyes are better than mine

Sounds like you have pulled the coil out, but I am a newbie myself, only 5 months Didnt have a choice it was caught up with the cotton wool, no way to prevent it, glad you agree with my thinking though

Yes sorry, i seem to be changing the wicks constantly as whenever i put a clean one in it doesn't seem to work and i have to go through all of them to find one that will work but on another day the ones that didn't work will now work? As i said the Liquid is always the same including flavour but again if i put a clean tank and wick i can't get any vape and another time using same set up i will get loads of vape. I know this doesn't make any sense. The Spinners are newish from places on here so not copies etc so i have ruled those out as to the problem. I ususally change the Tank and Wick about once a week and dread doing that as it might be fine but it might not like now for instance, i have gone through all the wicks and tanks and have found a combination that is working so at the moment im ok until the next time. Hope this makes more sense and thanks for any help offered Ok first up, been a heavy vg juice the juice can need time to soak into the wick. When you pop a new coil in leave it for I am going to say half an hour just to be sure, then take a few puffs without pressing the button on the battery. Next are you buying genuine kanger coils?? Do they come in a black box saying kanger? Re wicking is simple if you can thread cotton through a small hole if you wanted to go down that route but I wont confuse you with that just yet. You say you are just using joose for the ratio- justvape247 don't just sell concentrates they sell eliquids of their concentrates something people do not always realise, and come in a range of vg/pg option so perhaps try some new juice? www.justvape247.com/

SAMMY Yes they are genuine ones and i have used them all at least a few times but the first time i use them they are fine, after watching the video i am leaning towards the rewicking theory and will try replacing the cotton wool on a couple and see what happenes. i will have a look at the site you linked for me thankyou for that its appreciated

Can you give us more details as to how it goes wrong? Does it taste burnt, does the juice leak? What happens? In my experience the Kanger coils are of questionable quality. Sometimes you get a good pack and they are fine, and sometimes you get a duff one that leaks, tastes yucky, and needs replacing quickly. One way round this is to buy naturevape coils - you will need to wick then yourself with cotton wool, but it's very simple and there are videos on the naturevape website to help you. They fit in a protank 2, and last months. for me to wick myself i would need a Idiots Guide Video to follow

Hi Guys, i am in need of lots of help Please.i have been vaping nearly 2 yrs and can't seem to get a decent kit for more than a few months or so but i must admit i think part of it is my fault. i can only vape 30pg/70vg as i have lung problems and the pg affects it so my kit has to cope with this mix. At present i am using a Protank2 with spinner and flow adjustment thingy ( forgot proper name) when this kit works its perfect but not sure why or what is the problem it doesn't seem to be good for long maybe few days as soon as i change the wick or tank it goes wrong and i cant figure out why. Ideally i would like to be able to keep the kit i have (due to poor finances) Does anyone have any idea why this is going wrong please but bear in mind i am not techy just re buy wicks etc cant do coiling and rebuiling etc so please treat me as a newbie. I get my juice from Joosejuice as they are the only ones that i know of that does the mix i need and am happy with that side of it just want it all to marry together on a permanent basis if that makes sense to anyone?

well done Wisher, wait until the Winter when your hubby has to go out in the cold etc to have a ciggie and you can stay cosy indoors that will be the time the 'light bulb' will come on in his head, just have tunnel vision and stay vaping not stinking and you'll be fine
