I'm sure I'm not the first on here to be made aware of this cunning lil' scam, but I'll relay it anyway.........I'm normally well switched on with stuff like this, but this particular little bugger slipped by my radar.......
I ordered something from them about a month ago (to the value of £10) & as I went to pay, was asked if I wanted to take advantage of their "Free Delivery" service.......Being of the ilk that the mention of "Free" attracted my attention, I agreed to it & had the item sent to one of their collection points near to my home..........I duly collected it the next day & thought nothing more of it.........
However, perusing my online bank account last night, I noted a transaction of £79 having been taken from my bank in the name of Amazon Prime, 3 days ago.....having no knowledge of it, I immediately rang my bank & having explained the situation, was told that it has happened to numerous bank customers.....
Apparently, when agreeing to "Free Delivery", there is also a clause that you are agreeing to sign up to Amazon Prime & all it's crap, which costs an annual subscription of said mentioned Queens spondoolies & that they will continue taking it annually, unless otherwise advised........
I was advised by the bank to cancel the subscription immediately & that Amazon would reimburse me, providing I hadn't accidentally used any of the supposed benefits of joining........
I've now done that & had an e-mail from Amazon, informing me that I will be refunded..........What gets up my sniffing device, is that many people, particularly the old, vulnerable, & @spikeyfridge, could easily be out of pocket because of this unruly behaviour........So just be aware..............

I really did want to watch some of this malarky, but sadly, I can't watch Desmond O'Lairy for longer than 2 minutes without experiencing the overwhelming urge to shout out "TWAT!!!!!!"......Therefore, I didn't..........Would have been far more entertaining to have Jeremy Clarkson mincing about like a deformed chimp for 24 hours........Then again, he'd probably have ended up punching someone through lack of cuisine............

I'll be British & supporting McClaren & in particular Jenson Button (as opposed to Hamilton) as normal, but don't expect too much from them this season, with the teething problems they're bound to have with the new Honda engine..........

Its such a shame what he's done to himself It was probably more to do with the "noshathon" in front of the fridge with Kim that caused that rather rapid downhill transformation............................He should have paced himself.................. Splendid stuff....................I had a couple of hours to kill yesterday, so decided to see what all the hype is about & came away from it all, feeling rather sorry for the poor girls bottom.........& a rather becoming one it was too..............highlight of the whole movie, until it got that rather severe telling off........bottoms like that need to be shown (a bit) more respect in my opinion.......................Unfortunately, it has now forced me to line up 9 1/2 Weeks, as my next viewing pleasure ( for probably the 45th time ), in order to make comparisons with Kim Basingers rather splendid rear offering.........The things you are forced to do in the name of research, but somebody has to do it........
