I loved the original Poldark. The casting was pure genius.

Its brilliant !!! I'd change George for broodier but so far so good. I got the original on DVD. But first Ross was scrummier and first demelza was cuter and they all talk posh! Are they worried they won't be understood north of Brizzel?!?!

This Ross needs to look a bit more rugged, less manicured.
George needs a brow implant so he looks like his vaguely neanderthal predecessor. Let's face it, he had common genes..
Wonder how they will replace the late Warren Clarke if they make a second series?
So far, it's looking much better than the last incarnation....
