the stock heads shouldnt leak as long as the seal on the top and bottom o ring of the coil and the upper seal in the base are in place. when you rebuilt the stock heads did you leave the lagging paper (for want of a better word) in place? If thats missing it would also leak like a sieve. I wrap cotton around my coil head before refitting the cover piece. That is a very good point phtumshk..............I will check that, as I don't recall seeing it when I re-assembled it................ "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

I get a drop of juice sitting under the rebuildable head but its only once 'proper leaked' and I think that was change of temperature? I didn't mind the stock coils but they were only vaped on lowest settings and i'll agree they werent the best flavour conductor but I tend to use menthol based juice which are strong tasting to start with. But I honestly couldnt offer advice on rebuilding as i've only used the ready made wicks and stock coils yeah, I've used both now Pepperty , but still with the same result...... Dr. blakey seems to think it points to a sealing or vacuum problem, but I've checked everything I can & can't put my finger on it...........all I've done is continually put my finger "under" it, so avoid further spillage............. Found this if it's any help Is your square washer in place? "Somehow a little square washer had come away from the cap over the filling tank ( you have two in the box that comes with it) and I hadn't noticed, so that's what was causing the spill over from the tank to the air inlet and accounted for both the leakage out of the base and also the neat liquid making its way into the mouthpiece." Thanks for the tip autumntwist32 , but that was one of the things I checked first & it is in place........... "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

OK, so before I bin this much praised item, I will seek some final advice...........Having exhausted blakey 's limited patience ( & knowledge... ), I thought I'd throw this out to the general (e-gripe owners) public........... Since getting it out of the box, filling it up & attempting to vape on it, I've had nothing but grief....I first used the stock coil & wick that it came supplied with.....on firing it up, I got loads of crackling (sounded more like a car backfiring)& juice pouring out of the air control (where you adjust the screw).....firing it up involved holding it at arms length to avoid the spitting, whilst pressing the fire button, waiting for it to settle down a bit & then taking my life in my own hands by attempting to draw on it........Having given up on that little episode, I decided to strip the supplied head & coil & wick it myself, to no avail..............same problems......I tried adjusting airflow (which involved getting covered in yet more juice) & adjusting the wattage......... Thinking that maybe the supplied heads were crap, I decided to try the rebuildable base which I also invested in (at 10 squids a pop).........This came with a fitted coil & wick, so I tried that first..........Success insofar as no juice leaking from the air control, but then, obviously it wouldn't, as the rebuildable base renders the air control obsolete.......instead, however, the juice pisses out of the bottom of the base, along with a puff of red hot vapour........I have whacked plenty of the "Vietnamese Nylon" into the coil & have even tried covering all 4 air holes in the atty head with the stuff, to further prevent said leakage.......again, to no avail........The E-Gripe is now sporting a piece of bog roll, tucked into the silicone cover of the mod (which I also purchased as an added extra), covering the leaking base of the rebuildable & preventing more of the 15ml of juice already wasted, covering everything in sight......it looks not unlike the comic strip captions often seen of a lady exiting the public convenience with a trail of toilet paper hanging from her knickers & following in her wake......... I have contacted Extra Vapour regarding my predicament, asking for a replacement, but have yet to receive a reply from them.....Hopefully this will change by the end of the day........ So, my question to all you E-Gripe owners is:............"Any ideas, before it gets lobbed out of my bedroom window, to join the growing pile of mods adorning the lawn, that have also given me the severe hump?" Thank you very muchly................... "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

& that was the text from Tamworth town centre..........you'd managed the 4 hour drive from Stroudshire without a hitch........... "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!" Little secret, I argued with my passenger and we took a detour cos he WAS RIGHT! I'm useless with directions. I only get to work cos the car knows where its going now! Talking of the poor, suffering passenger, is Matt going this year, or has he come to his senses?...... "Life...........is just a bowl of tricks!!!!!!"

What's your total now then? Are you getting there? Add the stars up we're guaranteed the marquee. But I'm not wanting to put it all on Jason so hence asking for help paying for it, which everyone on the list has kindly offered to do. A member has been more than generous enabling me to get a stock of teabags, coffee, spoons and cups in to start with. I'd like to be more cheeky and ask folk to bring extra tea and coffee on the day I'm worried about milk though. Any suggestions?Bring a cow............you'll have room on the passenger seat.........She can read the map too, as I know from experience your directional bent is somewhat suspect to say the least.............. amygx Firstly take out bottom fill screw: then using a "SYRINGE" slowly push plunger and fill up with juice. Refit bottom screw. Reason for "SYRINGE". When using plastic squeezy, you cannot refill in one press of bottle, thus when you release bottle, you then on next press push `air` into the Kayfun tank, and pressurise it. The "SYRINGE" method eliminates any air being put into tank. Tip: If lots of gurgling when taking a vape, take atty off the mod turn upside down wrap tissue around air hole, and the blow down the drip tip, whilst atty is upside down, this clears all excess juice. very true jeffc............but what I do, is move the dropper away from the hole after squeezing & then fill again, that way, avoiding any air.............. Because I don't know how to fill it properly lol Just remove the screw underneath, tip the atty at a 45 degree angle & gently fill from a dropper bottle.....You'll find it easier, if you have the filler hole to the top of the atty......Just don't overfill it..............I use Kayfuns practically all the time..........this video should help....watch from 2minutes 40 seconds.......The guy holds the atty with the fill hole to the bottom, whereas I have the hole to the top.........It's individual choice, but I find it easier.......it also shows how to top fill before that.............
