Greg , you are the last person who should have any complaint about the tone of peoples replies. Your own posts have a habit of being argumentative and at times even offensive. I have resisted the urge to post on this subject for months but get a grip and treat other people well if you expect them to treat you well. Guess this will be my last post here as everyone you bitch at ends up banned. You may agree or disagree with posts, but your replies tend to cause drama, and not intelligent conversation. Sorry for the rant but it had to be said before more members are driven away. The majority of members who are no longer on this forum, are not "driven away", they are absent because of trouble making, bullying, offensive behaviour & numpty remarks, I think you'll find.............Fortunately, for them, they can choose other forums to frequent if they wish............... Friends and Family is exactly what it says. Even although we are on this forum most of us don't know anything about each other so why would you pay using F & F. Looking at the thread the OP wasn't a total newbie. He had 300+ posts and on the forum for over a year. Which makes it quite odd. I would have thought anyone bent on ripping people off would come on the forum, rip and move on. But it takes all sorts I suppose. But he could have done the decent thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the seller didn't even put a pic up of it & as far as I can see, the buyer never asked for one either..................£150 squids for something that may not of even existed...........Buying from a newbie without checking feedback or seeing pics of the item etc is always gonna be iffy.........

By sounds of all this heres my suggestion A five star hotel several miles away, a limo driver and what you all forgot battery charger.  MP That was me last year & it'll be the same this year if I go.........sod all that camping malarky..........slap up meal at the hotel in the evening, washed down with a shed full of guinness...& then a big comfy bed with rakes of snoring ( 'cos @spikeyfridge won't be there .... )..............Proper behaviour........ So.........Just to re-cap then.................. We are looking at: 1. A substantial marquee.......(or if left to VE Jason , a kiddies wigwam). 2. Acquiring an enormous banner to glue to said abode. 3. A tea urn, coffee machine & ability to plug into the waterboards endless supply to keep them both up & running for the day. 4. Shares in Tetley & Nescafe. 5. A few catering sized boxes of tea bags. 6. A rake of tables & an army of chairs. 7. A couple of American style fridges to keep the "Pigs ears" in. 8. 2 x portaloos (his & hers - preferably with disabled access). 9. A security guard. 10. A giant eggbox. 11. Somewhere to house the hen. 12. 3 or 4 gullible blokes to erect it all (preferably sober). 13. 1 or 2 blokes to set light to it take it all down again (definitely pissed). 14. 2 or 3 women to clear up the mess the rest of us will have made. 15 & finally, an articulated lorry to get it all there. Seems straight forward enough. If you need a hand, just give me a shout, I'll be watching the antics from the comfort of my collapsible, portable chair, just inside the entrance to The Alchemist Cupboard marquee........ opposite......... Was thinking .... always dangerous .... we'd (collectively) be looking to hire tables, chairs, maybe have a fridge, tea/coffee facilities. If anyone has any ideas how and where to get this stuff from then shout out. Plus any other ideas would be most welcome Nick 'em from another marquee.......simples........
