I quite agree Giles,that this particular what shall we say (movement against e cigs) boils down to someone wanting a bigger slice of the pie and/or someone not wanting to lose a slice.
I had a long thread on a car forum were a brought up the subject,a smoker argued with me by using links from that discredited test and all the reports that followed like in the daily fail,I then had to present the facts which he chose to ignore,the biggest problem is we are being hit by TV newspapers and the media in general and now as people start recognize vaping they see it in a bad light.
Makes me want to have the next South East meet outside No.10

One argument I always stay out of because I just don't know the figures is,the government are making lots of tax money out of smoking,against the cost of treating smoking related illness

Most of them are joining here anyway oneday and we are talking half a dozen people really,I know elfish loves the fact we now do these meets as she was having trouble with their meet in Camden town,I have know Idea how this meet will grow or even shrink as it goes on,so at the moment i'm pushing it forward to see what happens  |

Hi all excuse me being slow,car meets have eaten up all my spare time,so I have spoken with our sponsor and told them with myself being busy I want this next meet at London bridge,Atif agrees and we both want a function room,especially as its Esme's birthday ,then I remembered there was an upstairs to the Old Kings Head. Nope your not on your own,I think the first two pubs were good and well pencilled in as Jaylavents has got that area pretty well covered by CAMVIP stickers I could probably get a whole function room where I work at a good cost for larger meets,but that would fall on its backside as it would be too hard for the people travelling in from Essex and Sussex etc,as I said earlier I am going to give it up too 3 weeks before the event too have a alternative before I make it London bridge again,but will always be searching as I get the time or someone else finds a good alternative,I think UKecigstore don't mind paying for a function room as they are our sponsors and we don't come free to them,lots of things going on in my nugget at the moment and no doubt some of yours ,always great to know all of your opinions,I take everyone into account. On another note Blakey looks good for the 4th May,if a bit peed of with his work rota at the moment. Thanks everyone Alan |
