Some great advice thanks guys!Im looking at venues right now and my question is this-do I pick the fancier venue with less trimmings or a plainer venue with all the extras? I like the look of a particular castle(kinnity castle) but to get absolutely everything on my checklist it's a bit over budget....otherwise there's a plain ish hotel with everything I could want and more well within budget....heart or head or do I choose another venue somewhere between the beautiful castle and the boring hotel???

Unusually it is the other half is planning most of it! I was never big into weddings but he wants big and bright, I'd love small & intimate so we are meeting in the middle - 80 still seems loads to me  It's hard trying to do just what we want that will be the hardest thing I think! Hope Karma sees this and she may have some golden tips too  Thanks for the replies - will make sure not to watch don't tell the bride although I've already seen a few...shhh |

Hi All Another thread got me to thinking about my upcoming wedding which needs to get planned sometime soon - looking for some advice from you guys - the kind you don't see on wedding forums hehe Anyone got any advice on things you wish someone would've told you while wedding planning?
