If I'm changing juice I rinse them in water a few times then leave all the parts to steep in a small amount of vodka for a while, then pat out the wicks on a bit of paper towel to dry them. Then I take the top off the wick (the rubber bit with the metal nozzle) and dry burn the coil till there's hardly any vapour given off any more then reassemble. Them most important part for me is to make sure you put the rubber bit back on fully (keep pulling it down till it hits the flange (ooh er) otherwise you'll get leaks down the centre hole on to the battery.
Fill it up and you are good to go instantly, no lingering taste, nothing, and all within 5 minutes.

Actually things are changing, with some supermarkets doing cigalikes you can now pop in and get some prefilled cartos and a back up battery for around £16 which will get you out of a jam (just make sure they're 510 compatible).
I started on the 10 Motives rechargeables (which are 510) and still use them for my tobacco flavours as I like the taste better on lower voltages (until I pick up my new Variable Voltage from the post office tomorrow).

Can anyone find a vendor for Silky concentrate/flavour (is it Hangsen?) I ask because currently I'm mixing VE Silky with a touch of Griz 666 with a few drops of Vanilla Tabac, so I'd like to try and replicate it, I figure just some vanilla, peanut and "silky" flavour.
The posty has gone missing with my refills (utter *******) I'd like to be able to do a BIG mix of "my" blend and be slightly less reliant on Royal Snail in future.

Omg i just got my "royals" from paradise vape and its just like a ciggy, taste the same! +1 from me for sure I keep hearing people recommending this, I'm going to have to try it when I get back. I think I'm missing the ciggies (I actually had one last night, but then I am surrounded on holiday with 4 "pro" smokers:()

I even managed a cheeky wee vape on Easy Jet, well they didn't say I couldn't and Faro airport was no problem either. As for juice, I'm here with around 55-60ml of different juices. I also have 30ml of 24mg juice but I don't really get on with stuff over 20mg. I'll struggle through for the next 10 days hopefully. Thanks for the offers though people hopefully I won't need any.

I find cleaning the clearos with vodka really gets the old flavour out.

I find the visions give plenty of flavour and loads of vapour (which taken down like a cigarette can blow the bleedin' doors off), so I do the same as Chrissie mentions.
Cartos on the other hand feel smoother and not as heavy as the vision. Different vaping bits have different qualities, dripping with a 520 atomiser is another cheap way to go and handy for testing different flavours.
The only problem now is you'll want to try everything!
You'll make the odd mistake and some things won't be for you, but that's the fun of it, just don't be afraid to ask if you get stuck and have fun with your new shiney!

The SD Keying is pretty simple and should come with a couple of pre-filled cartomisers.
It may need a charge by screwing in to the USB charger (not too tight just till you feel contact, and plugging in, ideally to a wall charger. Once it's charged which could take 2-3 hours the light will turn from red to green then just screw the carto on and inhale!
Riva's normally come with a charge and will also be able to use the cartos that came with the SD Keyring (if you can't wait to give it a go).
The key thing to remember is not to screw anything on the batteries too tightly, you can push the centre pin down in to the battery recess which although is easily fixable is a pain in the backside.
I couldn't get along with the clearomisers that came with the kit as they leaked all over the place and died in seconds, I'm sure it was something I cocked up :-[. Hopefully someone else can help you out with those! I'm now using the newer V3 versions and they seem much easier to use and maintain.
