I recently moved from Rivas to Egos and I have to say you soon get used to the 5 clicks, as Karma says, just keep clicking till the light comes on. I have a 1000 mah VV and love the Egos, quality wise you can tell that they're a little step up from Rivas (although I prefer the Riva's buttons).

Happy birthday OneDay, and while I'm at it, a quick thanks for your advise over the past few months (not always directly to me but I've learnt a lot from your comments) even though I'm going to ignore your "walk don't run" comments.

I'm currently on my first VV and can definitely say it's worth a go, I decided on the Ego-C Twist just because £25 for a 1000mah battery (that I can charge using my Riva charger) is a drop in the ocean.
I heartily recommend VV, and although I love my Riva kit for what it's opened my eyes to, I wish I'd started with a Ego VV Kit instead.

Unfortunately I've not used or seen the kit you have, but as you've said a standard 510 connection should have the male screw on the carto, and a female socket on the battery. I would guess that the fittings are actually 510 however from the first photo on the site the batteries look to have the male connection.

I'd say the description is a tad misleading and it could be that you could send it back (if you wanted to) stating that. Certainly the spare parts for that kit will be harder to come by.

Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge (and there's a bundle here) will be along soon to help out.

Vapourtine do some 5ml bottles if you want to give them a go, I found them too sweet for my tastes (bear in mind I'm not a fan of really sweet tastes) but they did settle down after a while, they could be right up your street.
