Wow, thanks for all the very helpful responses, so leave the extra clearomiser for now then, and see how I get on seems to be the consensus of those in the know As for the juices, the 6 for a tenner option from Vapourtine seems a very good deal, but I must admit some of the gourmet flavours from VapeEscape sound amazing.......decisions decisions.

Ok, so I've been looking at theses all day now ( even my other half has said "bloody hell, are you STILL looking at them things?!" Haha ) and I think it's got to be the Riva, with an extra clearomiser, as I don't think I'll bother using the cartridges, and then a nice mix of sample liquids to round it off. Anything else I might need?

Great, at least I know i'm not going mad....just yet! Looking at both of these kits I have to say I'm definitely more drawn to the Riva kit, but the clearomiser looks much easier to use than the cartos, so I'm thinking I may just buy the 'intro Vision kit' and see how i get on with that first. Shame it doesn't come in a kit with the case etc

VapeEscape had a pick-n-mix of liquids last time I looked on there, but they seem to be gone now, or am I looking in the wrong place?

Ahhh ok, I get ya now. I've just been using pre-filled cartos so this all looks very confusing at first galnce, but now you've explained it all I can see exactly what you mean and it looks far less daunting. Ok so with both of these kits i'd need to find a liquid I like, bearing in mind that I like menthol and sweet flavours, does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok, i'm going to sound stupid here, but bear with me as i've only ever used a skycig, how the hell does it fit together? Both of them look a bit technical for me hahahaha

Hi Karma, No, I can't say I've had any headaches really (well, other than the usual work related stress head!!) so it must just be the nic strength.... I quite like the look of the Riva kit I must say, how much is the discount code for? Thanks.

Hi guys,
Well, it’s been just over 2 weeks since I had my last cigarette and I must say it’s been extremely easy with the help of my Skycig. Apart from a bit of a wobbler over the last few days, I can’t say I’ve wanted a ciggy at all.
However, after 2 weeks I’m beginning to find that the skycig, whilst brilliant for what it is, is just not going to cut it for a long term solution. The battery life is pretty appalling, and I even have the luxury of working at a computer all day, so I can keep mine charged up throughout the day, but I’m still finding that they don’t last for very long in the evenings and I’m constantly swapping the batteries over and putting them on charge, so I’m about to start looking for something that will last all day, but isn’t going to cost the earth, as this exercise was also meant to be saving me money after all! Any suggestions?
The cartridges have lasted me well so far, as I’ve also used some nicolite refills which fit, and I still have a number of the skycig ones to use, but I am aware that pretty soon I’m going to have to start re-filling them and so I need to find a liquid (or ten) that I like. I’ve also found that I’m puffing on them far more often that I would have had a cigarette, if that makes any sense? Is this a sign that I’m not using the right strength of nicotine (currently on 11-12mg)???
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Cari.

baconandeggs, you are a flippin genius! I only had 1 left as I managed to completely stuff the other 2 up swapping over the wadding inside to the skycig cartos (didn't work!) but at least I now have the last one, and I know I can use them in future should I need to. Thank you.

I think DiscoDes is right....when you look at the Nicolite's the connection bit inside the thread end is not quite as long and is smaller and thinner in comparison, where as the skycig is longer and is completely flat so it would seem that the Nicolite is not quite making contact with the battery. Shame really as everywhere sells the Nicolites, i've even seen them in my local corner shop so that would have been handy knowing they are readily available. Oh well, i'll just have to make sure I plan in advance haha.

Hi Guys, I'm doing ok at the mo, I’ve not had a cigarette in 4 days now, and not really feeling the need to either. I even stood outside with my partner while he had one last night (he only smokes maybe 2 cigs a week - never seen the point myself!) and didn't give in to the temptation to have one too, so I’m feeling quite proud of myself haha. I just made a mistake though; I bought some nicolite refills the other day thinking they would fit the skycig, but they didn't work for some reason, despite the threads being the same (I suspect skycig have done that on purpose so you have to buy their refills) so I decided I’d just take them apart and swap the nicotine soaked wadding over into the skycig cartos, but they won’t work now. I try and pull on them and although the skycig is lighting up at the end, nothing is coming through except the actual liquid. Doh! 2 ruined cartos. Oh well, we live and learn! Anyone know why they wouldn't work in the first instance? They screw on fine, but then nothing comes through, and I was under the impression that all 510 were interchangeable, or is this not right?

Hi guys Well so far, considering I only got it last night, I reckon i'm doing ok, by now i've usually smoked about 5 cigarettes, but this morning i've only had 1, and as I can 'smoke' my skycig in my office (my boss is all for helping me quit) it's working quite well. I must say though, i've already used one of the 'sample' cartos - they weren't joking about it being a sample eh, it lasted about 20 puffs! I've now got to find a liquid to re-fill them with, as i've been told this is the most cost effective method of keeping it up, so i'm going to look for some of that now. I think the skycig is excellent as a first dip into the world of vaping, especially if like me your aim is to give up completely, it's not quite the same as smoking a cigarette, but it's close enough to do the job, and the extra battery and charging pack it comes with in the starter kit are really handy. All in all i'd say it's a steal at £15 all in.
